Agreed. Please read the terms of service, and only open a thread when you have enough content to make it worth it. You have 24 hours to make this thread 'content filled' before it will be locked down- One picture and a single line do not a vaild thread make, and this is no exception. R.D. sdL is being overhauled from the trackrails up this season, with new Gerstlauer built trains, Magnetic brakes and other hardware upgrades during the off season, which will extend it's lifespan by 30 or more years. -

The TPR Games Forum Moderators Random Thread
QueerRudie replied to robbalvey's topic in Games Forum Moderators
That's the thing: I've never used 8cars or any other trainer: Not once. I've use CTRs and a handful of CS pieces (on the old computer) but never used hacking tools for any of my RCT II parks. I guess I'm old fashioned and stick to the basis of the game as it was intended in the beginning- that or I'm simply OLD. -

The TPR Games Forum Moderators Random Thread
QueerRudie replied to robbalvey's topic in Games Forum Moderators
AJ: This is what he edited in from the Winter challenge thread: And the message I sent him: I try to spell out in any games forum challenge the rules clearly about cheats/hacks/trainers and the RCT II games- as it's not fair that some people don't use them while others do. Since we are seeing growth in the number of people using the thread, the last thing I want is to see is people thinking that "If he could do it, so can I" as that ends up tilting the playing field in favor of those who don't use these tools. In this case, he got caught red handed and posting it right in the thread- then editing his message after he got caught. I was -not- happy about this, as it's a red flag that he could have cheated in other events we have played, and he got it past me. Thus the ban on playing the TPR challenges. -
The TPR Games Forum Moderators Random Thread

Neither was I.... Back during the last TPR contest, I banned him from participating in any TPR games (i.e Track Challenges, etc.) due to his admission of cheating (and in the thread, no less...) I never banned him from uploading/downloading things from the exchange- but he's no longer eligible to participate in the 'challenges' area. Unless there's a way to do so, I don't think we have a method of banning a person from uploading/downloading tracks from the exchange itself- and if there is, I didn't see it when we were learning about it 15 months ago. He does know- and is playing dumb there. He was told why in the thread- and by E-mails. -

I've been thinking quite a bit about this, as they're the first trains that originate from the progenitor company of Schwarzkopf, Gerstlauer. Seeing the NTAG trains in profile from the Gertstlauer website made me think we're going to see a very similar chassis design- down to the wheelbase. The dimensions from NTAG to sdL are very similar, and with some minor 'tweaks' to the design, it's entirely likely this is where the design on the trains is coming from. There is my second 'theory' of this as well: Gerstlauer still holds all the original Schwarzkopf designs for track (See also: Eurofighter) trains and static design works. We could see an 'evolution' of the original Schwarzkopf Mk2a-c trains, with updated safety changes (NO- NOT OTSRs people... more like redundancy devices for the trains beyond the magnetic brakes.) With many of His designs now approaching 35-40 years old, these nextgen trains should add another 35-40 years of safe operation with the Schwarzkopf name on them. (And perhaps we should send some really REALLY nice pictures to SFMM... with a title of "HINT HINT HINT" R.D. Praise be to Anton -

Perhaps that's not such a bad thing? They can restart and not screw things up this time? This would never happen to David Caruso. Now if they could get David Caruso to DO a Syfy movie... with Chuck Norris. -

I'm beginning to think the conspiracy of the film is that the Volcano is actually working for the oil company to vacate the real-estate in Miami for future developments. -

Having looked over the Google Aerial maps of SFMM, I could see Viper join it's siblings in the scrapyard before too long: The land on the opposite side is way too open for a park that will need to look in that direction to expand in the next decade. Viper is a great plot-blocker, and occupies space that could be used for other projects in the future. While I hate to see any coaster go (well, except MAYBE a TOGO), I could see Viper go away, and other rides fill in the space before too long.
