  1. Would be cool if it re opened, the Time Machine looks like a fun B&M and its a shame to see one of only 5 B&M sit-downs just sit there to rot.
  2. Am I the only one who thinks the ride name is quite politically incorrect
  3. Sorry for digging up an oldish thread, but Im stopping in Hong Kong on the way to England this June and I'm planning to visit Ocean Park. Just wondering if theres anybody who's ridden Hair Raiser who can tell me if its good and how it compares to other Floorless coasters?
  4. The trains will be different from the Great Nor'Easter, these ones will be manufactured by KumbaK. I was hoping for the new Vekoma trains as seen on the Great Nor'Easter, but these ones will do. These trains seem to have a large lap bar with a vestlike chest restraint, so it looks like head banding is gone for good!
  5. I bet Wodan will take this title when it opens.
  6. Good to see our old SLC getting some love. New restraints look great, and on board audio was a surprise! Not a huge fan of the new name though.
  7. Wait, so B&M's are notorious for having a rattle? Jeez is there such thing as a smooth coaster anywhere lmao.
  8. You replaced an Intamin rocket coaster with an SLC Not a great decision IMO considering the park already has a Vekoma GIB. A B&M Invert would've been ten times better in my opinion. Oh well, at least it'll be photogenic! Also, its a very good looking CFR. I would love to know where you downloaded it. And with that survey, the idea of a 200ft woodie is cool but a bit too much IMO. I believe a medium sized GCI or Gravity Group coaster would be a much better option.
  9. Could it be one of those Gerstlauer launch coasters then?
  10. Awesome! Definitely looks like it'll be the best GCI to date! Looks like 2012 is the year of awesome coasters, with Shambhala, Skyrush, OzIris, Verbolten, Levaithan and now Wodan.
  11. ^ Verbolten will be the first Zierer Launched Coaster with a free fall drop.
  12. Jeez this is incredible The theming and attention to detail is simply outstanding.
  13. To be honest its not fair to compare this to ispeed or katun, compare it to other water rides like tidal wave at thorpe or journey to alantis in orlandoor any shoot the chutes , yeah its not going to be as fun as the other rides in the park but there could of be alot less coaster going on with this one. True, but DiVertical is marketed more as a coaster, not so much as a water ride. So basically you're expecting a coaster with a splashdown, instead of a flume ride with a coaster section. As a coaster, it looks very mediocre. As a water ride, it looks really great. I think its the fact its the tallest coaster in the park, yet its really a family ride that lets me down. If that made no sense its because I just woke up and really have no idea what Im saying
  14. Finding it really hard to like this ride at all. Really don't like the layout :/ Would've been better as just a super flume like Pilgrims Plungs IMO instead of being a huge new coaster which looks like it'll be a bit disappointing. It'll still be fun, but I doubt it'll come anywhere near the standards set by iSpeed and Katun. Just my opinion
  15. I personally like the new paint job, and I LOVE how the name is now just "Revolution"
  16. Seriously, can this person see Superman being better than Pandemonium? To be honest Superman doesnt really appeal to me
  17. The holocaust. /thread Whats worse than Six Flags buying out both Busch Gardens parks, renaming then Six Flags over Vagina and Six Flags over Tampon and retheming all the coasters to DC superheros and generic names like "Scream" and "Goliath"?
  18. Construction of Superman hasn't even started, so much for Spring opening! Unless by some miracle they construct and test and open this coaster within 2 months
  19. ^ You've lost me As far as Im concerned, Skyrush seems to be inspired by I305.
  20. Well its more suitable for being labelled as an extreme thrill ride than a certain UK coaster... I'd say its in that grey area between family and thrill ride. So its a family thrill ride.
  21. I love the layout of the standup, but Im finding it hard to imagine how you could tie in a Venetian theme to a standup. Maybe if you changed the name of the area simply to "Italy" you could theme it to an Ancient Roman god?
