How much Faster/Taller can we get?
DarkStitch626 replied to Sir Coaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
*whisper* If you build it, they will come. Honestly though, the rides are not the limitation, we as a people are the limitation by body. By mind we are an open blank canvas of imagination and wonderful ideas of crazy envisioned rides! -

My take on seeing the restraints from the old "factory" picture of them with the Krake train near them, seem to tell me 3 things. 1. The bars for holding onto are a bit wider to keep a more open appeal and freedom of movement. 2. There will be no thick pad to restrict any movement hence I said "freedom". 3. The actually lap bar esk portion down where it will push on your lap seems to be a VERY contoured, and VERY streamlined version of the bulky BOX that is what you have on you on the flying or "prone" B&M coasters. 4.Bonus question. Is it me or does B&M have a bit of a theme going on here. Last year was alot of Red TRACKED coasters. This year alot of Dark dark drab green. Whats 2012? Dark blue it seems already. -

I may not know the story. I do know this though, Robb and Elissa you are both extremely respectable people with honor!. I am shocked that anyone would or could be such butt-holes in life towards you! . The internet it may be, but its just so aggravating when one person or even a small group of people can ruin things for an entire community. -

They did the same on Hydra at Dorney. The seat belt clips on Hydra are also hard plastic instead of foam pad topped. -

I use to work for a wal-mart and the training the give for the situation is basically to say "let them have what they want" then when they go out the door , the cops will get them. -
Dude HA HA! What "Drivers" Don't you mean "Parkers" theres so much traffic it never moves! I swear I could live right next to it go outside mark a car, go back inside sleep for an hour and then come back out that car will be right there ! same spot. And yes I agree Elissa is VERY watchful of Kid tums!

I feel sorry for the child but, this also shows negligence from the parents to monitor the child. How did the parents not see the child going for the tray. I mean seriously? Its ridiculous!. As for the second suit. I guess I am the only one who can stand Its a small world on this entire forum!. Did the guy expect a ride operation employee to swim under the boats to brave it to get to him and sit in the boat playing Patty-cake or some such BS with him? I seriously want to walk behind that guy every day with a small Cassette or CD of hours of "Its a small world" to just play back.

Pending on the scoops shape on the train also. I also think if the splash is right after the first drop, that if its during the tunnel, Water effect aka the water will come shooting out of the Oct's mouth. -
The most rare coaster credits
DarkStitch626 replied to Stitch's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thats what TPR and "Sarcasm" is for I wonder about the people who think Ultra Twister when it was at GADV would be a rare ride that the passed around Shockwave, and there could be a few others. -

What is the best floorless?
DarkStitch626 replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is in NO particular order! though As shown Dominator is my #1 1. Dominator - After riding Medusa at SFGADV, this one takes it as my #1 floorless. in VA it does apparently feel even more forceful than when it was in Ohio. The Mechanics even rave that it travels up to 10mph faster on a good day. The wild second Low ground banked turn is amazing! 2. Kraken - This ride is so good! I rode it on my Senior trip back in 2005 being able to ride it ALL day!. The layout is anything but "classic" when it came out. A MUST night ride! 3.Medusa East aka GADV- It was the first of its kind and I haven't ridden it as Bizarro. The layout is pretty cool, I won't call it standard like many people do. It kind of annoys me when people say "but its a typical B&M, Loop, Dive loop, Zero G roll, Cobra roll, then brakes and corkies!" I rate it in the middle of my chart. 4. Griffon, god I lucked out with this one. I hadn't ridden it till this year, after finding a day ticket on a WENDY'S floor good for a day admission. I ran into the park and just rode it a couple times. 5. Hydra- Among so many who dislike this ride, I admire it. The Inversions are not your typical style Inclined Cobra roll and Dive loop actually left me feeling a "WTF, that felt so odd!" type way. I watched it from construction all the way to opening day. The ride is very smooth and although to some "slow" Its got a very high rate of re-ridability versus say Dominator for most people. hopefully this year I will get out to Six flags Fiesta Texas and ride SKC, I'll be going there some day or so after the Texas Giant Media day. -
^ The Lizard thing is hilarious now that you say that. SPidermans Reboot on IMDB has "The Lizard" as the main enemy L O freaking L. As for DKR I can so not wait!
