  1. ^Last year almost everything was one train except for X Flight. Bull didn't have 3 trains until half through the season and Eagle usually only ran one side.
  2. That's funny, I prefer the front right of X Flight over the left. Just shows how different of a ride experience these wing coasters give.
  3. Or noodles (Does this one not work anymore?), or lockers The filters are probably my favorite part of this site, is there anyway to see the whole list? But my god does that ride look insane, it'll be interesting to see what the pacing will be like.
  4. Bump, but man i need some help So I’ve been loose friends with this Girl all year long. I’m a senior, saxophone player, she’s and sophomore clarinet and piano player. We know each other through concert and jazz band and we have gone on a few trips with our school groups this year, one of which to Disney World. During which I spent a good deal of time with her and we really get along great. Anyway, after getting back from the last one I think I fell for her. She’s just so funny, smart, and beautiful. I've started trying to spend more time with her both in and out of school but most of it is still in a group setting. Usually it seems like it’s a lot of me saying hi to her, texting her, or coming over by her. But she does always seem happy to see me We have had some great talks though when we are alone but that's usually only when I'm giving her a ride to or from some event and don’t last long. We’ve only been spending a lot of time together over the last month or two so this is fairly new. I tend to be a very quiet person but I did manage to work up the nerve to ask her to prom. That was this Saturday and we went with a group of friends. There was only one actual couple in and group. The others were just going as friends and we were kind of in between. I was hoping to get her alone and to myself but we were still stuck in the group setting. We danced a lot and had fun but it was always the group and not just us. We did have a great moment snuggling during a slow dance. We just gradually got closer until I held her tightly and she had her head on my chest and my head was on hers. It was absolutely amazing but as soon as the song ended she seemed to pull away. I could tell she was nervous after that and the group made the decision to leave once the slow dancing started at the end, much to my dismay, but as much as I regret it I didn't complain. We left and went to the post prom, still in that group setting. We had some more fun there, I tried getting close to her and cuddling again but all the people made that hard. I drove her home and by that time it was 4:00 A.M. and we were exhausted. I've always felt like I've gotten mixed signals from her, and I don't know what to do next. Always being stuck in a public environment makes having a serious talk with her hard. I'm thinking of asking her to dinner and/or a movie this weekend in the hopes of getting her alone to figure out where we stand and see if she thinks of us as a couple or just good friends. I just can't tell right now if she’s into me or thinks of us as just friends. I know I want to be a couple and I’m having a hard time showing her that and trying to read her. I don’t think it would be a good idea to have a talk like that during school or in a text message. TL;DR Senior guy, sophomore girl. Mixed signals, always in a group setting, goes to prom, awesome slow dance, guy doesn’t know if she wants to be a couple, needs advice.

  7. I don't believe they have. I think there is just one less row of seats in order for the station to work out. The pilot car is simply where the last row of seats would be attached too.
  8. I'd wish they would make the queue more interesting than that. At least give us some change in scenery and maybe snake it around the ride and onto the beach? CPs massive blocks of switchbacks make their lines horribly boring.
  9. I was thinking something more like this:
  10. ^ Its the hipster parking lot coaster, ya know, cause its underground.
  11. ^ As great as that would be. Ya, no. They'll probably build yet another gimmicky coaster on top of a parking lot and let everything continue to rot. All the history and culture will just go to dust. As sad as it is that is, it seems to be the Six Flags business plan for most of their parks.
  12. Been following this on SSC, it'll be nice for it to get some attention here. Junes optimistic but when this get dones you'll put a lot of good knex coasters to shame with it. Keep on buildin'!
  13. Thanks for the comments everyone! Here's a test video for your viewing pleasure.
  14. ^I'm tall and skinny and have the same problem. Usually by the brake run they make breathing slightly harder however I hardly seem to notice them throughout the ride. There's also complaints of them hurting peoples shoulders. Then again, their not that bad, people seem to expect lazy boy recliners on all roller coasters these days.
  15. How about mag-lev tracks. The only moving part would be the train.
  16. ^ I would agree but MCBR tend to ruin the flow of a coaster for me. Besides for that last turn, it was great! Maybe remove some of the trims?
  17. Cool stuff. Its nice to see people take time to theme there knex roller coasters
  18. ^Not yet but..... I know its been a while but, the Heartline line roll is finally done. Laterals will be added to all of the support in the turn once I figure out where the prelaunch is going. Its a little rough in places as a result. I'm debating where the station will be. Anyway, pics! Enjoy!
  19. TWO TRAINS OF THE LIFT!?! That 5 train operation during the Marriott days must have been awesome.
  20. IDK why, but I thought that was fake when I first saw it. The colors look amazing! Also, no trim!
  21. Expedition Everest @ Animal Kingdom. Us Disney Honors kids get the whole park to our selves for an evening!
  22. The MSRP price was $1,000. And even for only 500, you could still buy 7 or 8 screamin' serpents off ebay. Thanks for all the feedback! Changing the title sure helped.
  23. no comments Overbankish turn is done. The lighting in my basement sucks BTW. So sorry if a few pictures are a little dark. *Insert 270* turn and a big ass heartline roll here* Have fun!
