  1. And how do you know that? There is no way they would put that small of a coaster in Iron Wolf's spot (unless its not going in Iron Wolfs spot). Honestly as must as I would love a launch coaster it will probably be filled with a GCI in a few years
  2. All of the Wing Rider cars look awesome. But The Swarm's would have to be my favorite.
  3. X Flight is a great coaster to just sit and watch. It also is very photogenic. I think its a great ride even if its not extremely intense.
  4. I was thinking something like this: iSpeed is a very compact coaster and something like it would be great in Iron Wolfs + The Wilderness theater's spot. iSpeed itself could almost fit if the layout was mirrored. But something similar to Xcelerator would still kick ass.
  5. A launched coaster would be great. Hopefully an Intamin, but most likely a premier.
  6. It could be possible that they relocate Space Spiral to another section of the park. It doesn't have a very big footprint so I don't think it would be that hard to find a place for it.
  7. They are really only complaining about the restraints not the airtime. I think the only way you could get enthusiasts not to complain about a coasters restraints is if they where literally lazy boy recliners with pillows for lap bars. Sometimes bad or painful restraints actually add something to the ride because it almost feels more intense. Also I really hope they don't neuter Skyrush.
  8. ^ Its a Lego NXT set, which is their little robotics kit. It has 3 servo motors and 4 other sensors. http://mindstorms.lego.com/en-us/Default.aspx
  9. As the tittle says. Here she is And finally, the wonderful mess that is my basement. Also showing all of the space I plan on this taking up. It will also be using an NXT set to run two trains. Here is a video displaying its function:
  10. I really don't see how anyone could complain about this. Small trims or no trims, fast lift or very fast lift, it still looks to be one of the best steel coasters in the world.
  11. I recently downloaded the Construction Kit and have been trying to register it in order to be able to save my rides as 3d files to import into 3ds Max. I enter the Username and Password given out be the developer to register it for free and after I hit okay it comes up with a message thanking me for registering. But I still do not have access to the save feature of the molder and under my registration recall its still says that the kit is unregistered. Anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

  13. I heard a kid say he hit his leg on the tower on the X Flight. Really wanted to call him out on that one.
  14. B&Ms tend to be pretty reliable. They spend a lot of time making sure their designs work and work well.
  15. That's the problem. From what I heard from people who didn't use the fast lane system is that it is nightmare. It apparently doubles the wait for everyone else in the normal line because of how many people use it and because you can abuse it like this. So it screws over everyone who doesn't have it. Honestly is your not going to do fast passes like Disney, you shouldn't do them at all. Its supposed to be helpful to the guest not a money making scam. Am I the only one who thinks that this is bullshit? Hear come the flames......
  16. Ya I rode it 4 times today in all different parts of the train and its just flat out fun. Good forces in the front and back with great hang time in the middle. I personally think the best seat is front row on the right wing, because you are literally hanging upside for the majority of the first drop and you get to see that control tower coming right at you. Plus you get a good look at all of the brakes and friction wheels. I think Six Flags has a winner.
  17. I'm guessing the right side is "more interesting" than the left? Just from comparing the POVs that would be my guess, but I'll find out Saturday for sure!
  18. Trust me it will be popular. The whole wing rider concept seems to blow the GP's mind. The key hole and hanger seem to be especially loved. Plus SFGAm hasn't got a new coaster in 10 years.
  19. Thanks for all of the comments guys! I'm sure you will enjoy this:
  20. That particular piece of track is actually not painted so I could be for a different project. But if it is for this one that this coaster will be big.
  21. Looking at the curve of that track and how steep it is it has to be a hyper coaster. Considering that no hyper has been announced in the U.S. its probably going overseas, most likely Asia
  22. Its done! Please enjoy this picture heavy post! Final vid should be up within the week!
  23. Not to promote other sites but for all of you knex fans out there: http://www.sscoasters.net The guy who built mythos posted a thread on here a while ago. dont know where it went though. Mythos was a very good coaster. I believe he had a mechanism to sync the trains and the shaping was excellent. The problem with entering is that its supposed to be for schools only. So individual builders had a hard time getting in last year. This year they where more lenient and got better entries. If you really want to see the best knex coasters out there. check out some of the contest on the site above. some of the guys out there do amazing things with knex.
