^ How does the lipstick camera work? I was under the impression it was an external camera that plugged into your camera, and if the camera is set to film in 16x9, that's how it would film. Obviously, I'm wrong. -
Yes. Too close. Post in there people. I'm shutting this one down and merging them.

I think everyone is going to be pleased with these new pages. With the easy admin function, we can update each page really quickly, which will make them more relevant. I say keep the social networking to Facebook. There's enough going on in here, that it can get a little overwhelming. -

^ The weekend are the most crowded. It's when the locals come out for the festival, plus all of the resort guests. Stick to a weekday, without Extra Magic Hours. -

^ Top ten what? Top ten parks? Top ten steel coasters? Top ten woodies? Top ten hot chicks? More descriptive let's Robb know what you really want. -

The Bantron welcomes you. -
Not to derail my own thread....But, how was Iron Man? The Chicago Tribune guy gave it 3 1/2 stars.

Yay! Boobs and beer! I love the bathroom signs. Those made me giggle.

^ Argh. That was a terrible recording. I guess I'll wait until Sunday. Between this movie, Iron Man, Indy, and Hulk, I may see more movies this summer than I have in four years.

I like the thread archiving idea. I found threads I created and had completely forgotten about while doing the park updates. I can't find some that I know I did too. Somewhat frustrating. I'd stay away from the calender meet up idea. I think it'd be a complete mess after a week. Too many people thinking they're going, posting, and then they don't. It'd be mass chaos. -
Height and riding coasters...?

^ I have the same problem with Arrows. Either my shoulders are bruised, or my knees are if I slouch. -
I'd put more money on them simply renaming it and repainting it. Like calling it something stupid, like Goliath.

I love hot coupler action! -
Glad you had fun a DLD. I think the guy in the fedora in the one picture is a co-worker. Major tool. MAJOR. As for me, I'll sit here and drink my New Glarus, and Dark Horse. Three Floyd's just irritates me. The whole thing is big hype for a better than average imp. stout. IMO. But it's about the fun with the crowd. I had other friends go this past weekend just to hangout more than anything.

Typically, there's enough staff to run the major attractions, but not everything at one time. You have to remember that a good portion of the employees are college/high school students that aren't back from school yet. How am I the only Chicago person to not have seen any snow this week? I wouldn't say the flurries we had would hinder construction.

Remember, both Elissa and I edit the DVDs...so if you think it's our best work, it's not Robb OR Elissa's best work it's "Theme Park Review's Best Work." --Robb "Just giving credit where it's due!" Alvey Oops! I apologize, I know that! Elissa, your segments are better than Robb's! -

^ You should. And yes. This is by far Robb's best work. The entire DVD is well put together with great production values. This is a must buy. My wife, who is not into theme parks by any stretch of the imagination, thoroughly enjoyed this from the first minute to the last. -

The Bears filled major needs with guys that could step up and play this year. No one flashy, but Angelo actually got the job done. -

You can all note that the Trylon was the first attempt at the wand. -
This early in the season, it usually translates to, "We don't have enough staff today."

I heard DLD was an absolute mess. Glad I decided to stay home this weekend.

mcjaco replied to Golfie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
How is that possible. Bumpy and great? I know crowds are light opening weekend, but that hardly means no one rides it anymore. Besides, without Deja Vu and Splash Waterfalls, there now, you have to have something to ride. -

^ I don't see where anyone said this was pointless. Just difficult to do.
