  1. Well sure, if you edit your post...... Hit up the Disney and Universal fansites. They typically have links to places that "discount" the tickets. They're never marked down very much though.
  2. I should of been more specific. The Orlando park was pretty rough towards the nineties. My family stopped going to the park (it was usally our first stop on our way to WDW), because my Mother was appaled at the animal conditions, and the park in general.
  3. Has anyone played GH: Aerosmith yet? Just curious, as I thought it came out on Monday.
  4. What? I loved Carlin. But you know what the funniest thing is about his death? He's probably laughing at all of you for mourning his passing. ^ LOL.
  5. ^ InBev isn't trying to buy the parks, they're trying to buy Anheuser Busch.
  6. Which is exactly the reason I didn't visit Sea World in over 15 years. It was a dump before AB bought it. I'll be honest, I'm scared of the thought of these parks being sold off. AB has done a wonderful job resurrecting them.
  7. Although we're a community, I don't think you're going to find too many people to just open their doors for you to crash at. Start doing searches for hotels in the area. Oh yes, I deleted your post in the Random, Random, Random Forum. There's no need to ask the same question ten different places.
  8. Hmmm. Last time I took math, 7 did not = 200.
  9. It's a typical noobie mistake. Whenever you "preview" your post, it reverses the pics, even though you put them in the order you want them. Upon posting it after review (and not changing anything) they will post in the order you uploaded them in. No worries! I visited Denver a dozen times, and never made it over to EG. Silly me.
  10. ^ Totally agree. My one trip there was nothing special. It was nice, but I wasn't sitting in awe of the place. And Dodger Dogs? Don't get me started. Those are the most overated pieces of horse meat ever.
  11. ^ Post a picture of your favorite coaster. Not just name them!
  12. I can't find the post or thread with the link to the patch. I'll delete it if you can link it for me. That being said, anything like un-authorized patches are surely a way for you to get yourself in trouble.
  13. Great start Tatum! It's nice to see pictures of the rest fo the park, rather than just the Bullet. Keep them coming!
  14. I believe the world may end this year. The Cubs might actually do it.......
  15. Band: Fraxinus pennsylvanica Album: Live forever or die in the attempt. Album Cover: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3110/2588839076_ae58342c30_m.jpg
  16. Keep it up and I'll lock you in my powder room!
  17. OK, I now know who was taking a picture of me while I attempted to jam way back when I could jump. Is that Sedale Threatt?
  18. Just got back from Dayton, for Abra's 10th college reunion. I drank alot of crap beer, but started the weekend out right. I wanted to check out a place that was rated quite high on BA, so we made sure to leave early on Friday, so we could grab lunch before we had to check in. So we stopped by Boston's just northwest of Dayton at around noon. The the parking lot was empty and I feared the worst. We headed up to the beer garden area where two gentlemen were talking, the older of the two told us he was closed but opened at three. I sighed, and when he asked where we were from, and what we were here for, I told him. Stone on tap. He quickly looked at me and Abra, and told us to come on in, he'd be our bartender. To make a long story short, we spent two and a half hours with the owner drinking Stone, and listening to him tell us the history of the bar, beers of the area, and how he loves the BA crowd. If you are ever in the area, it's a must. Awesome stuff on tap and in the cooler. Humorously, as we sat there he informed us that Stone is finally coming to Wisconsin next weekend. Typical of my luck. And a few more drinkies. On the way home I cleaned out Belmont Party supply of Stone. This place is a must go if you're in the area. Dave is a kick ass guy, and knows his stuff. My horrendous Bubba face. Filled with excitement over finally getting Stone in mass quantities. They won on the Most Arogant bar awards last year. Half of the bar had a typical game area. Victory. It must be good! Nothing too spectacular, but I loved the calender updates, and news section. Good collection in the cooler. As you see, it's us and him. Oh yes, and his cute dog Gypsy. Oh yummy, yummy, yummy! Dave (the owner) had a Stone tasting the night before. I hit paydirt! Abra and approched this forelorn looking establishment.
  19. ^ I'm not going to answer for Robb, but in short no. PTR's are what make TPR cool. With this system, members can upload stuff rather than the mods having to go through thousands of PTR's and add them manually. Right now, we move PTRs to the Archive Forum, and then pick the stuff we think is the best of the bunch. It's time consuming.
  20. Last time I checked we have the "The Professional Amateur Videographer Forum!" Wouldn't that work for videos?
  21. ^ Already fixed! It's that easy for us!
  22. You mean like this one? TPR Visits Hard Rock Park!
  23. Try searching. This post: Custom Supports has some links. As does the rest of the NL Help Sticky. Locking this down.
  24. SFGAm, is in the far north suburbs of Chicago, so there isn't a shuttle (free or pay service). There's plenty of hotels in the vicinity of the park, some within walking distance. The TPR trip stayed at the Holiday Inn. You could fly to Louisville, but it'd be expensive. If you want to whore it up, the better plan would be fly into Chicago, go to SFGAm, then drive up through Wisconsin and go to Little-A-Merrick-A, the Dells, and end your trip in Minneapolis and go to MoA and Valleyfair. They're all along I 94.
  25. Not entirely true. The comic book was somewhat dark when it started, but became fairly campy. It wasn't until The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel (mid-80's) that Batman got the tone these movies are using. This movie especially seems to be borrowing heavily from "The Long Halloween" story line, especially the Harvey Dent/Two-Face stuff. Gotta love Frank Miller's graphic novels. Those are the ones I read in the 90's in high school, so these movies are bit more meaningful for me.
