  1. Now I'm confused. The station building and the entrance look like a delapidated castle or possibly ruins of the towers. Would that fit with either theme??
  2. After looking at the planning application, it can be seen that the ride will be 22.8m or about 74 feet tall, steel with a lift hill and themed to a castle or maybe even the towers themselves. There is a section below ground level but whether that means a tunnel or just a cutting isn't clear at the moment. Anyway, at the moment it isn't possible to tell what the 'world's first' is about this coaster but it looks great anyway - can't wait to ride it
  3. Damn! I thought it was gonna be quite difficult. Then again, chances are you've been there. Well done - your turn now
  4. How about this one then?? The colours on this pic have not been changed. Good luck everyone!! Any Ideas??
  5. All three are stalling every 8-12 seconds on my computer (8.3Mbps, xindows XP, windows IE7). I've watched the version on youtube though and it works fine; no buffer time at all even on the high quality version
  6. It's a piece of track that you enter in one direction, stop and then return in the opposite direction. The difference between this and a shuttle coaster is that the track you return on will be different due to a switchtrack. If you've ever been on Expedition Everest, you can find one there. I hope that helps
  7. Is it the new Saw ride at Thorpe Park?? Edit: Damn - beaten by about 30 seconds
  8. Good luck with that - i've done that and came up with nothing. It must be one of his own pics.
  9. Where did the ECC get this diagram from?? Surely if this was the new layout, it would've been included in the planning application Planning Application
  10. I saw this last sunday - I think everyone should drive round a shopping centre at least once in their lifetime because it looks like so much fun.
  11. My computer runs 8.3 Mbps and can run youtube and most other videos fine. It always has been a bit slow buffering videos on here though even before TPR TV.
  12. Mine is the main ride at my home park - a boomerang called Wipeout. I caught it on my last trip there
  13. Rage didnt seem like it had that much airtime on the airtime hill - not as much as Speed anyway. I'm suprised that they are the same though. It will be interesting to see where Saw comes into this when they open it.
  14. I think a park with a boomerang or other vekoma should buy it (preferably Pleasurewood Hills - my home park) and use it as the front car on the ride. That way people could still enjoy it. It seems like it's really popular - 56 bids with the highest one currently at £1650 - $2378 at todays exchange rate. EDIT: The auction ended yesterday. It ended up going for £7300 or $10606. Someone must've really loved that coaster to pay that much for the front car
  15. Did you try the Beverly while you were there?? If you did, are there any pictures?
  16. I wish I had enough money for that - it would make such an awesome xmas present. I think whoever does buy it should turn it into a proper car and take it on a road trip to all the UK and european theme parks.
  17. What an awesome video!! I only managed to download it last night but it really was worth the wait. Hopefully one day I'll be able to save up enough to come on a trip with you guys. Thanks for putting it up here Robb. I would be all for the idea of downloading the dvds - I think it's a great idea. Once again, thanks for putting this video up. Andrew
  18. 5 TPR DVDs. Looking forward to watching them now
