Now I'm confused. The station building and the entrance look like a delapidated castle or possibly ruins of the towers. Would that fit with either theme?? -

After looking at the planning application, it can be seen that the ride will be 22.8m or about 74 feet tall, steel with a lift hill and themed to a castle or maybe even the towers themselves. There is a section below ground level but whether that means a tunnel or just a cutting isn't clear at the moment. Anyway, at the moment it isn't possible to tell what the 'world's first' is about this coaster but it looks great anyway - can't wait to ride it -

It's a piece of track that you enter in one direction, stop and then return in the opposite direction. The difference between this and a shuttle coaster is that the track you return on will be different due to a switchtrack. If you've ever been on Expedition Everest, you can find one there. I hope that helps -

Where did the ECC get this diagram from?? Surely if this was the new layout, it would've been included in the planning application Planning Application -

I saw this last sunday - I think everyone should drive round a shopping centre at least once in their lifetime because it looks like so much fun.

Mine is the main ride at my home park - a boomerang called Wipeout. I caught it on my last trip there

Rage didnt seem like it had that much airtime on the airtime hill - not as much as Speed anyway. I'm suprised that they are the same though. It will be interesting to see where Saw comes into this when they open it. -
Looking good over here - no problems at all

I think a park with a boomerang or other vekoma should buy it (preferably Pleasurewood Hills - my home park) and use it as the front car on the ride. That way people could still enjoy it. It seems like it's really popular - 56 bids with the highest one currently at £1650 - $2378 at todays exchange rate. EDIT: The auction ended yesterday. It ended up going for £7300 or $10606. Someone must've really loved that coaster to pay that much for the front car -
Did you try the Beverly while you were there?? If you did, are there any pictures?

I wish I had enough money for that - it would make such an awesome xmas present. I think whoever does buy it should turn it into a proper car and take it on a road trip to all the UK and european theme parks. -
What an awesome video!! I only managed to download it last night but it really was worth the wait. Hopefully one day I'll be able to save up enough to come on a trip with you guys. Thanks for putting it up here Robb. I would be all for the idea of downloading the dvds - I think it's a great idea. Once again, thanks for putting this video up. Andrew
