What Ride Have You Ridden the Most?
Sportsdude360 replied to Randomman295's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Coaster = Texas Giant. I rode it more than 400 times before the RMC conversion. Since the conversion I've ridden it probably around 200 times. Second is Titan with about 300 total laps. Flat ride = Spinnaker. I rode it the day it first opened in 1977. I continued to ride it up until it's removal in 1995. I rode it a few times after it had been relocated to SFFT as Wagon Wheel. Altogether I've probably ridden more than 1000 times. -
Okay, more what one may call "European parks" flat rides Zamperla is selling more stuff in the US lately, I think the Luna Park showcase of their rides is helping and Owa should boost that more. I really like the Zamperla rides I have been on. I wish SF would buy more Endeavours and try out a Hawk, Power Surge, and the Super spin. Air Race's also looks cool or in the same genre SF could try a Gerstlauer Sky roller or Sky Fly. Never been on Fabbri rides, but checked out their website and they have some interesting looking stuff, some of it is similar in concept to Zamperla's. Mondial has some interesting things that Cedar Fair is trying like the Inferno(CA Wonderland 2017) and Top Scan(KB 2017). The Mondial Tornado and Super Nova also seem like good rides. I'm still hoping somebody buys a Huss 2nd gen Enterprise. SFOT is currently the only SF park to have received a Zamperla Endeavor ride. The one at Coney Island is the Endeavor 24 model while the one at SFOT is the larger Endeavor 48 model. Currently, there are only a hand full of Zamperla Endeavor rides existing in the entire world. It remains to be seen if the ride will be given to any other SF parks.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

I would like to say that I'm appalled at the park's inability to have this ride ready on schedule! This isn't a new coaster for crying out loud. Tower swing rides should be fairly quick and easy to install. All three of the new Joker 4D coasters are already up and running, and those are far more complicated installations. And now SFA is telling us they can't make their target date with a Funtime Starflyer!?

^That is most definitely not normal! In,fact, I can't even remember the last time an outage like that happened. As far as Joker, you didn't specify as to which side you rode- green/purple. The green side is much more intense than the purple. Also, each ride on Joker is different than the last due to weight distribution having a profound effect on the car's spinning and rocking! I rode Joker 11 times on VIP Day and let me tell you that no two rides were alike!

Instead of answering your question (since I don't work in park management), ask yourself, how many 50 year old log flumes are there? Six Flags Over Texas, Both of them. Six Flags over Texas is home to the very first Log Flume. It opened in 1962 and is still in operation.
