Disturbing CD I saw at Wal-Mart yesterday.... Even more disturbing is that there were some missing! Eww.

They don't have problems. They just use a different text character encoding, making it sometimes tricky to share .txt files between Mac and PC.

I did that, and I still gor an email from Mitch saying it was messed up. Best bet on Mac is to just paste the ballot directly into an email, apparently Windows can't read the txt files correctly.

Ride wait times on Saturdays arn't bad during FearFest, but on Fridays they're terrible. Expect long haunt lines as well. Note: At Psycho Path, if the line is out to the gate by the old helicopter pad, thats a full 1.5 hour line right there. The entrance is a LONG way back, all the way back by the King Cobra boneyard. Slow, boring wait. All the haunts get long lines though, it's impossible to do them all in one visit. I would suggest getting in line for Psycho Path right when they start letting people into the line for it. They open at 8PM, so be there. The Asylum is right next to Psycho's entrance, it opens at 7PM. Go to it right at 7PM and then go straight to Psycho Path when you get out of it.

I'm not whining! I'm offering my opinion on the format. You should at least remove iPod from the descriptions then... Because as I said, iPods CANNOT play WMV files. I didn't say I would stop downloading them... This is my favorite site for videos. But it's a little disappointing that I won't be able to put the new videos on my iPod when I get it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Edit: Wes, I have Flip4Mac. That plays them just fine. Doesn't make them iPod compatible.

I can't put DVD's on an iPod... From your description of the attached zip file of BPB video: Well... They can't be put on an iPod! iPods cannot play Windows Media formats, and converting them is very painstaking and results in a quality loss. If you're going to use Wincrap, at least offer a secondary download in an "iPod-Ready" format, because while Macs may be a minority, Video iPods are very popular across both platforms, and the WMV format will prevent a lot of people from being able to add it to their device. I dunno, maybe just offer to email it to people who need the iPod compatible file... Just my two cents... I've always believed in supporting people using non-Microsoft products.

Okay, it had been a little while since I'd last downloaded a TPR video, but I just downloaded the Blackpool one... WTF?! it's WMV, the worst video format ever. I use a Mac, and have iTunes and hopefully soon to have a video iPod. Now, without trying to figure out some converter that dumps on the quality, I won't be able to import them to iTunes. What gives? What was wrong with the previous .mpg format? At first glance, the quality of the video as a .wmv is not as good as that of the .mpgs. (If you couldn't tell from the above post, proprietary video formats really piss me off. )

Six Flags agreed in June to sell it to the Columbus Zoo for $2 million with the deal expected to close in October. Maybe SF is selling the stuff that they're not selling to the zoo, such as the go-karts and non-permanent rides. The Columbus Zoo does and has always owned the land the park sits on. They've said in the past they will keep the park open in some way.

POV! SOB is NOT running. It hasn't been open since July 9, so this must be an older TR.

I'd rather have concrete than asphalt... and lots of trash cans are good, they keep the park clean.

PKI has slipped quite a bit under Paramount/CBS rule. However, it's recently started improving with CF taking over operations and increasing staffing and budgets. It'll take a while for all the damage to be reversed, but it's already starting its improvement.
