I just spoke to a Disney employee, and he said that Everest's testing is doing very poorly. Apparently the cast member soft opening has been pushed back, and the grand opening will be as well. It seems every time a train is sent, it's tearing up theming on the right side of the track. If true... this ain't good.

SOB. I'm always afraid it's going to collapse and/or the trains break into bits. Oh yeah, lapbar failure always scares me on SOB too, they seem so flimsy... Skycoasters... I hate them. I rode PKI's ONCE, and almost had a heart attack climbing the lift tower. And I still haven't worked up the courage to ride a Slingshot.

Discovery Channel's Making of a Coaster show. They might still offer VHS tapes of it for sale on Discovery.com, althought it's an old show. It first aired in June 2001.
