  1. I've grayed out on PKI's Vortex, in the vertical loops.
  2. Good: Flight of Fear. Effiecient setup, except the loading side isn't quite deep enough to prevent clogups. Bad: Son of Beast, Top Gun, Vortex, Reptar. Reptar sucks. You enter the station from the rear end, into the narrow station. The back seat queue TOTALLY traffic-jams the entire station. PKI messed this one up bad. Top Gun: Splits into front and back just prior to the station entrance, but just like all of PKI's queues, they don't physically divide it. So people go between the back and front, totally killing the purpose of spliiting it at the entrance. Vortex: INSIDE the station it splits, but awkwardly, then again, no divider. SOB: BAD! Switchbacks in the station that CANNOT be bypassed.
  3. Hey, that's me in your avatar! ...Or at least... my favorite flat ride.
  4. Vortex @ PKI, Saturday October 1 At dark, soaked in fake fog, right after riding IJST in dark and fog.
  5. Dude, there's no such thing as a break run!
  6. NONE of the Goliaths have a BREAK run! Anyway... *Points to the Walabi Goliath*
  7. I need help! I'm trying to make a Beast Backstage video from the tour at Ace Day Saturday. iMovie has been giving me problems. If you use a preset save setting you get poor quality and a huge file, but if you sue Expert Settings, you get a good file, but only Quicktime 7 can view it. I downloaded Final Cut Pro, but it's complex as hell, and I'm not sure about using it. Any ideas?
  8. It doesnt have a hard drive, Nanos use flash storage.
  9. I'm on my second Mini. Got the first one in February for my birthday, a blue 4GB. One week later, the new Minis came out, so back to Target it went. I went down to Apple Store in Cincinnati and got a new 4GB Green for 50 bucks less. Still works great with great battery life, just a bit scratched up. (I'm hard on small electronics, you should see my camera!) My iPod Mini next to my old PC desktop I'm using right now, while my iBook G4 is being repaired.
  10. Wyandot Lake Strickers Grove Coney Island (Cincy) LeSourdsville Lake Plus two coasters at the Ohio state Fair (Amusements of America) I took POV photos and video on all of those (LeSourdsville was just film stills in 2002) without any problem, and none in violation of any park rule. I don't do PKI POV because they have a strict rule against it.
  11. Have a problem with Mac? :?
  12. I'm already registered for the shoot, i'll be there the entire second day, the 29th.
  13. My current desktop... The stuff around the edges are my open windows that I hid to the edge so I could take the screen. Desktop as of today, September 11 2005, 12:50 PM
  14. Nice! I love mine, but I need to install more RAM, I only have 256 MB and if i multitask with stuff like Photoshop and Limewire i get overloaded.
  15. Ooh, you have a 14" iBook too!
  16. Yeah, I was there last week and got a picture of the big flood thermometer in the back of the park.
  17. DOH! now I feel like an idiot, thanks!
  18. My signature works in my profile, but doesnt display on posts  Any ideas?
  19. I use Adobe Photoshop CS for Mac OS X, it's great.
  20. I have a DCRHC30, which is similar to the one you have. Sony calls Firewire "iLink." Firewire is an Apple term. IEEE1394 is the generic term for Firewire and iLink. If you have any Sony product (computer, camera, donkey, etc.) IEEE1394 is always called iLink. You can capture video through USB streaming (I think), but I don't think the video quality is very good. That's the one I have, I use it with my 14" iBook G4 and iMovie.
  21. Can mine be "Delirium is the rox0rz" ?
  22. 20 minutes to read huh? I just finished. LOL.
