Why? Doesn't SFMM have enough inversions as it is? In fact they hold the record for most inversions at a theme park with 36. King's Island comes in 2nd place at 25... SFMM already has 11 MORE inversions than any other park. I'd argue that they should move away from inversions, not get ANOTHER multi-looper cough...ScreamRiddler'sViperBatmanTatsu...cough. Well, by removing Viper you lose 7 of those inversions and to pay homage to the ride in some way. Was it not the fastest looping coaster in the world with the tallest loop in the world when it opened? I don't see why Six flags couldn't try to take the crown from Lewa Adventure and build something along the lines of Flash there. That provides the Inversions and the airtime. I know Mack built that not Intamin, but I was thinking more on those lines with some Skyrush style airtime. Edit* My first post was supposed to say inversion height record, oops. Who cares about the number of inversions? That's such an outdated way of thinking.

Nice job on the write-up/photos! I think small parks TRs are my favorite. I also can't get enough of the train theming picture. Amazing. -

I can see this image getting great usage here. -
I remember riding Gobbler Getaway all by myself. It was kind of weird (I think I was the only person on the entire ride, not just my car) but I didn't care and had fun. The HW employees are so nice and plenty used to seeing single-rider enthusiasts lol I don't blame you for skipping it though, since there are a million other things to do and it's nothing special compared to the other ones.

What's your closest coaster?
Wingwright replied to FishyFish's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live 10 miles from Disneyland, which is about 15 minutes without traffic (I know... California). Knott's is another 5 miles & 5 minutes. -

Great report! Some thoughts: 1. The surrounding area is gorgeous... what a backdrop! 2. Mormon architecture is stunning. 3. The Natural History Museum looks great. I love NH museums and I love seeing non-coaster pictures in TRs. 4. That monkey selfie T-shirt is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. You should have bought one! It's marvelous in it's stupidity. Wow. -
It's an annual 5k/10k charity race they hold at the park. It's cool because the race route goes through the inside of the park (and Soak City). It was pouring this morning and the parking lot was full of puddles. I showed up about an hour early and immediately soaked both shoes and socks. I honestly thought about turning around and heading home, but I waited it out in my car. Luckily, the rain stopped about 10 minutes before the race began and I was able to finish it in the dry weather. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommended, even for very casual runners like me!

Great report. I can't wait to see all this in person. Details like this make me really happy. Glad they are putting this level of effort into it. Ghostrider deserves to be an amazing coaster again. If I was running for president, my platform would be "Make Ghostrider Great Again". Can I get this on a trucker hat?

What is your favorite coaster logo?

Not a coaster, but this might be my favorite attraction "logo": -
I love Disneyland. I grew up going there every year and it holds a ton of amazing memories for me. But THIS is why my wife and I stopped buying an annual pass. Not the money, but the never-ending crowds. I don't know if we are jaded, introverted, or just plain misanthropic but the crowds on the roads, parking lots, turnstiles, restaurants, rides and shows became too much for us. I realize it's Christmas and Star Wars, but 120 minutes for a fast pass is so far beyond insane, it's comical.
