No, I've never been on TTD or KK. Have you ever been to the circus? ---Brent

Just My Luck 6/10 The group I was going with was amde up of mostly girls, so we ended up seeing this. It was OK, a regular chick flick. Some parts were funny, made an attempt at slapstick. ---Brent

Nice pics! This looks like another great IJ! I have one question though. I've read about the stairs effect back when the PKI one opened and I was wondering if it was working when you rode it? If so, was it good? ---Brent -

Disneyland Natures Wonderland
socalMAN123 replied to flyby208's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
IMO Nature's Wonderland seemed pretty interesting. Long, but interesting. The covered tunnel used to be part of the ride and so did the old town of Ranibow Ridge. The train is on the River's of America all bunched up with a bunch of gophers popping out of it. ---Brent -
Drywall!?
socalMAN123 replied to coasterlover420's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Haha, this is kinda funny! Donkeys are better IMO, but drywall is cool too. I think we should just wait for R&E to answer. ---Brent -
Yeah, Memorial Day weekend is gonna be freakin insane! I might go on Saturday and be an idiot. But, if you had a choice, probably go to Buffalo Bills. ---Brent

Nice PTR! Looks like you had fun at the ACE event! How was Tatsu in the rain? ---Brent -
I understand you FLIPDUDE, it would be very interesting to see the clip, but I also understand Elissa. They have put so much free stuff on this site and are just doing it from their hearts. This website costs a lot to run, and those DVDs keep the profit coming in. I'm not trying to make you sound evil or not thankful for anything because I really admire your work Tomi. But not everything in the world is free. Thank you Robb and Elissa for running this site and keeping our pathetic lives interesting! ---Brent

^ I'm still working on it Erik. It is very hard to persuade my dad, so I'll keep working on it. UPDATE Our Orlando trip is now official! My dad made the flight reservations yesterday, I can't wait! Also, if anyone has a free day during my trip (August 6th - August 19th) I would love to meet up with you. It would be very fun to meet up with other TPR members! ---Brent

ECZenith's Huge California Photo TR
socalMAN123 replied to ECZenith's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I can't agree with you more than with the airtime on the back seat on Xcelerator. It's total ejector airtime, whenever I ride it, I'm practically standing up. Anyways, great TR and photos, can't wait to see the DLR ones! ---Brent EDIT: Chris, it is a flywheel shuttle. I don't know what the difference between that and a weight drop is. -
I have to painful coasters: Psyclone @ SFMM and Boomerang @ KBF. Those are the worst coasters IMO. Just like ECZenith said, if you can walk down the exit ramp, you're good. ---Brent

South Park: Bigger, Longer, And Uncut What a freakin funny movie! It goes against everything that South Park is, but still awesome! Good plot, even though Canada is tight! ---Brent

I'm going to So Cal!!
socalMAN123 replied to coasterlover420's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great to see that you are coming out to Socal. I'll give you what you should do and park plans for your visit. Knott's Berry Farm Get to the park when it opens, the morning crowd is usually very light and you can get on all the stuff you want to get on before 3:00. There's some stuff you should DEFENITLY hit and some stuff you should pretty much skip. Xcelerator- Great ride, forceful launch, defenitly go on it more than once Silver Bullet- The family mine train of B&M inverts, but you shouldn't miss it Ghostrider- Just like Xcelerator, don't miss it Boomerang- Only ride if you are credit desperate, this ride hurts, A LOT Kiddie coaster- For the major credit whore only On June 14th, KBF is open from 10 to 8. On June 15th, it is open from 10 to 6. On June 16th, it is open from 10 to 8. Depending on which day you are going, probably go on one of the 10 to 8 days. It is always fun to have a couple of night rides. Six Flags Magic Mountain Just like KBF, get here when the park opens. I know this from personal experience, you can get on half the coasters in the park in the first three hours of the day. Weekdays for SFMM are usually pretty slow, which means no crowds and lots or re-rides. Tatsu you should probably hit first, but I don't know how the lines are, seeing that I haven't been on it yet. Go in a counter-clockwise direction through the park because usually everyone will head to X, Viper, Revolution, and Tatsu first. You can probably hit the coasters on that side of the park in less than two hours. Well, that's my two cents on the parks you're going to, hope you have a good time! ---Brent
