What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
socalMAN123 replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Last Sunday: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad @ DL ---Brent -
^ I think you would have no problem during the design stage, seeing that you did create Pride Mountain. I was quite recently discussing this topic with Benji (America Sings Freak) and even though I don't really trust him on some issues, he made a good point on one. The Fantasyland Theater has been sitting there for quite some time and it is HUGE! They could defenitly fit an E-ticket ride in there. The space is there, Disney has the funds, so my question is WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!!! ---Brent

Hey everyone! Last Sunday, I went to DLR with my friends Benji (America Sings Freak) and Jared (Delandrix). My friend Jared has had problems with motion sickness in the past and he finally went on Indiana Jones! He really liked it and was planning on going on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad tonight. Anyways, the day was pretty empty seeing that the longest we waited was about 20 minutes for Indy. Anyways, onto the pics! ---Brent Yes, they will. Well, that ends my update, hope you enjoyed it! Yeah, it's me. One of the signs outside of the resort has converted to Islam. Us three in front of the castle. Find what is there that shouldn't be there in this picture. Best...shirt...EVER!!! The old Peoplemover track. Oh how I miss thee. I wonder what they're doing inside here. You can see more of the extensive work being done to the subs in this pic. Two of the subs sit at the front of the station. And now onto the Nemo update. The show building has been finished. Whatever happened to this? It was fun! I guess Benji thought the chair was gonna be squishy. The retarted piano that makes retarted noises. About a three foot tall slide. Time to go check out "the childeren's gurgle and poop" area. Quote from westcoaster.net An excerpt from Walt Disney's opening day speech still stands above the enterance tunnel for Disneyland. The question is, who's roll? I guess they don't show this on Mondays and Tuesdays. I hate out-of-order elevators! But, they end up being pretty fun. I can't imagine how long this luggage was sitting here! I start this update with the plaza in DCA.

My take on this: I was recently at Disneyland and my dad and I were discussing what they were going to do with the Peoplemover track. I heard a rumor a long time ago that they were going to redo Rocket Rods and come back with a brand spanking new ride. Just as I said this, one of the CMs walked by and heard this. She sat down with us and immeadieatly began discussing with us. She said that Bob Iger had a slogan about Disney rides. She said it was "If it doesn't work, don't waste money fixing it, just take it out." She also mentioned that Bob was eager to reinstall the Peoplemover after the Nemo project was done. The CM said that this will most likely happen and that in the end of 2007, we will probably have the Peoplemover. I also say that we need a new E-ticket ride and not remake anything. I mean, restating something previously mentioned, remaking Autotopia to fit with the new movie Cars. I think this would be rather silly and that they should focus on bringing out new ideas instead of "re-inventing" them. I still wonder everytime I drive past the Imagineering building, "What do they do in there?" ---Brent

Disneyland's Castle
socalMAN123 replied to America Sings Freak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I think it would be to early for them to close it off if they closed it off for the 50th Anniversary. I agree with DATman, it was probably closed off because Disney was afraid that it was a terrorist target. ---Brent NOTE: Benji, let's use some correct grammer -

Someone needs spell check. Anyways, my favorite themed coasters are: Space Mountain @ DL Big Thunder Mountain @ DL Batman: The Ride @ SFMM That's about it because most of the coasters I go on aren't very themed. ---Brent -
