I'm sure we'd all hit somebody's windshield. A dog's right toe? -
Quoted for truth. I thought the movie was actually pretty good, I was expecting something much worse. It actually made me jump once, which is something that is pretty hard to do to a horror fan like me. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. ---Brent

From what I remember, the Rocket Rods line defenitely started where the entrance to Astro Blasters is now and went underground. I believe the original Peoplemover line was something similar to what they have at WDW now? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would seem like a logical choice to do here also. ---Brent

I meant to put after the helix whoops . But yeah, I really liked that effect, I thought it worked well with the ride. I also remember there being a lot more show lighting in the queue and a soundtrack playing, neither of those are there anymore. Sad to see how some of the stuff in this park has degraded. ---Brent

^ Ah the joys of placed victims. Always works so well, I wish more haunts did it nowadays! The place that I work at, The Empty Grave, truly focuses on this factor. We're located in an almost warehouse type enviornment and a majority of our maze is huge wide open pathways. We pump that place up with fog, so much fog that the temperature raises a good ten degrees and you can barely see people ten feet in front of you. The vulnerability that people experience in those wide open spaces provides for some of the best scares. If you're in the Socal area this weekend, come drop by The Empty Grave! We're open Thursday through Sunday! And if you come on Halloween, go check out Higgins Manor, I've never personally been, but it looks like a great haunt and it's hosted by one of our own TPR members! ---Brnet

I pretty much died laughing when I read this. Cool little trick or treating thing, I wish towns around Socal did this for all the kids who still trick or treat! ---Brent -

Knott's took out Hammerhead because the ride was incredibly unreliable. I remember that the ride would consistently stall in awkward and dangerous places and there would be employees running all over Boardwalk, trying to get Hammerhead back up and the people evacuated. I used to have a pass back when this ride was still there, and it looked like a magnificent ride. I was too short to ride it though, which is a bummer. ---Brent

Where the Wild Things Are 10/10 I had a chance to go see this movie last Saturday at an advanced screening on the Warner Brothers movie lot. Being a gigantic fan of the book, I had set the bar very high for this movie. I did not want to be disappointed with it at all, I mean, I adore the book and I didn't want the movie to ruin the story that I've cherished my entire life. So the movie was...GREAT! I thought it was absolutely fantastic. Everything meshed together so well, the characters, the music, the setting, it was just a fantastic mash-up. Although it is actually one of the more depressing movies I've seen (it's quite sad), it still managed to be heart-warming. It's like Up where it contains the adventure and fun of a children's movie, but is so grown up at the same time. I absolutely loved this movie and would definitely reccommend it to anybody. ---Brent PS: For being a movie based on a children's book, there was some pretty scary moments for kids. It is a very loud movie and there is lots of tackling and yelling. Bring the kids on your own discretion so you don't have to leave the theater early with a crying kid.

The only good usage I've ever seen of the Golden Bear Theatre was when I went and saw The Aquabats there this summer. Which pretty much means it should not go anywhere ever . Magic Mountain does not need a record breaker, they need more solid coasters like Terminator. Something that is very, very fun to ride but is not too intimidating that the whole family can try and ride it. ---Brent
