  1. A.J., great idea with this thread. I feel like that design of a racer is seen too often in RCT parks in general. Maybe change it up a bit, though. Do whatever you think is right.
  2. ^Would have liked more comments then that... School, sports, and such has been keeping me from these updates. So, I've decided that the city of Buffalo is not the best for the ballpark because I've always wanted to design a coastal beach/city. I've narrowed my new city choices to New Orleans, Jacksonville, Savannah, Mobile, Charleston, Annapolis, Virginia Beach, and Atlantic City. Let me know what you think or suggest a city. Also, I have a quality piece of land by the ballpark but cannot decide what to put there. I'm thinking basketball courts, a parking garage, a soccer field, tennis courts, or a food place. Let me know if you have any suggestions (the pic is the last one). Lastly, the second-to-last pic (Gate 6) has two sections of blank land to the left and right. I was thinking of using those places each as a water park/slide complex, wooden rollercoaster, batting cages, building, or park. I might as well say this now, I'm going to be designing a boardwalk in the remaining of land. Suggestions or ideas on what to out there is most appreciated. shrimp 1.BMP The Shrimp House, a coastal resturant on the beach shrimp 2.BMP same building, different perspective gate 4 tickets.BMP the complete Gate 4 and new ticket booth crows nest.BMP The back of the scoreboard and the store Crow's Nest by the beach beach 1.BMP The basic structure of the beach gate 6.BMP Gate 6 out in centerfield what to do.BMP What to do here?
  3. Nice stuff, Insanity. I feel I'm in the same boat as you. School + soccer at once = no park updates As for the wingrider, great layout. If you're gonna continue with the name Stealth (I had the exact same name in mind for a coaster in the future), change the colors. Orange is not exactly stealthy. Also, try to get that barrel roll exactly over the lift hill, right now it kind of is off to the side if you know what I mean.
  4. Nice Intamin and good use of foliage below and around it. Good buildings. On that path near the contest plot of land, use the same fence surrounding the flowers and the tree, having two different fences doesn't match well. As for your contest, I'll try to get one in if time permits me. Is the amount of land we have to make the building 3x3 or the space you have in the picture (which I think is 3x6)?
  5. I think I'll get it but only because I have the system already. Had I not then I'd enjoy what other people create. Will they have POVs like in thr third game? Imagine a POV in 3D, that would be sick.
  6. Highly doubt i'm right (but i want more people to continue this)... is it Trailblazer at Hershey Park?
  7. Looks like this is a great park, I did a couple parks focused on Classic Rock but they're pretty old and not really up to par. As for names, AC/DC has a dozen names for a great ride, I was gonna do a roller coaster to Crazy Train but you've beat me to it, and you have Boston? Boston is my favorite Classic Rock band ever but I can't think of a song that would fit a ride(maybe Hitch a Ride or Higher Power). I'm interested in how this park turns out.
  8. Wow, this has come a really long way. Really nice job. I do think the change you made to some things are now better and I'm happy you did. A suggestion (or idea) would be to clear some land at the base of a drop in the log glume and fill it with water so you're dropping into that water with the ride. Just an idea. Really good job and great last overview.
  9. NICE Intamin, good layout design, pretty realistic, makes good use of the surronding area. I like it a lot. On the first turn after the drop, add some shrubbery on the ground. Maybe get rid of some of those trees to expose the ride to guests, you could make a good observation point of the ride. Good Arrow, if has some great moments (the pretzel roll, is it called?, that goes underground). Be careful with that building that goes up the lift hill. Put some windows or something to look out of. Good job, looking forward to more updates.
  10. Really good work and improvement. For the colors of the monorail, I though the previous colors were fine but do what you think is right. In the second pic, maybe continue that castle wall on the tops of the building and vary your use of the shrubs, I see only one shrub in the areas on the Main Street. Also, change the texture (sand for stone path, grass for green) under the paths to make it look like the path continues until a building. Overall, I really like where you're headed with this park. Looking forward to more updates.
  11. Give yourself a hand cause that is a great overview. A fair number of coasters, good use of forests, good use of water, good path system, good stuff my friend. As for the new ride replacing the snowman thing, I think it is an improvement. However, I don't get the block and brick walls at the top. Because I see you have the abstract theming next to the exit, maybe use something like that or the brown pyramid. Good stuff sir, keep it up.
  12. ^thanks for the comment, I need more people like you for suggestions. Works been slow as a result of school and life but I've got a three-day weekend to work on it and procrastinate in school. So heres some work. The first is an idea for a scoreboard out in left field. The second is the placement scoreboard.BMP scoreboard, the inside is meaningless placement.BMP placement in the rocky area
  13. Thanks everyone for your comments. The general consensus is the purple color for the stands so I'll stick with it. Heres a pic of the left field bleachers. I need some opinions on the color for the wall all around the stadium. 15. Those buildings look fantastic. My only suggestion would be to change the pretzel building and maybe the blue and white wall around the ride. Other than that, thats a great screen.
  16. Thanks everyone for your comments everyone. Judging by the views on the photos, people are visiting the page but not leaving a comment on their opinion. Does anyone know if theres a way I could post a poll and then remove/edit it later?
  17. Once upon a time, I did something like this but never showed it here. Beautiful piece of work you have here, looking forward to more pics and that video. What looks really good is using the wooden railing for the wooden supports below the track. If you're willing to put in the time for it, definitely do that. As for a name, I guess relate it to something about the forest. Maybe Gray Wolf, Mountaineer, Wildfire. Thats all I got.
  18. I see you took the advice of PSiRockin and changed the exit station to the castle, looks much better. Maybe add some shrubbery to the ground of the mouse ride and take away some trees by the B&M. I feel like the B&M looks great but is blocked by an excessive amount of trees, which is kind of unrealistic to a ride of that size. However, what you got right in the ground of the B&M, which is pretty hard, is the shrubbery. I see patches of bushes and shrubs which are great. Keep this up, you have great buildings in this very promising park. Just a question, I notice there are no boundaries or fences indicating your property in the park. How'd you do that? (The 2nd to last picture, with the wooden coaster, is what I mean.) Thanks
  19. If your in New York, I know there is a bus in the Port Authority that can get from there to Great Adventure. I've never been on it but I've walked by the loading station in the morning before and have seen people with Six Flags attire. It might be a stretch but Lake Compounce is like 2 hours away from the city and accessible by train. Maybe then go to Quassy, its not far from Lake Compounce. Coney Island is a must if in the city. I think beatle11 is right about the subways to Coney. Get Nathan's if you go there. Rye Playland isnt at all far from the city, maybe half an hour or so by car. Thats really it from the New York City area in theme parks. In stores, Toys R Us in Times Square is awesome and brings out the kid in everyone. ESPN Zone is pretty cool. Rockefeller Center is great and one of my favorite parts of the city. Relax on the Great Lawn or Castle in Central Park. For food, there is so much but if you're ever in the UpperEast side go to Shake Shack on 86th for the best burger and shake ever. Not even kidding, best meal in my life and I go almost every Friday after school.
  20. SooperDooperLooper, I thought there was more than 1 loop (because of the name) and refused to go on it until I was like 11.
  21. Alright, here are the current color choices for the stands of the stadium. Included is a pic of the whole stadium and a close-up. Vote for your favorite, your input affects the park dramatically and this is the most important color choice of all. 23. ^Foul lines are a problem with the in-game materials but zero-clearancing like that would look pretty good. But isn't zero clearance a hack or from 8 cars? If so, cant do that. I just have one pic of a current overview for you. I can imagine it is frustrating to see the past pics and not be able to visualize where they are in relation to the stadium. NOTE: the color of the stands is NOT OFFICIAL yet. I need some advice on color choices for the stands and the current is a possibility. I'll need that advice when I show some close-ups of the interior of the stadium. overview.BMP Overview, the left side of the stadium is much more complete and was in the last update on the street side.
