  1. I've done much more work on the park but have not updated here or at NE for a while. These are some older pics that I showed at NE but not here. The first is Cult .45, a basic boomerang. Ignore the supports, I've added a catwalk and changed them to something much better. Cult .45 Old carousel but updated Congo River Rapids station and queue (this was taken 1 month ago, I finished the area.) More updated stuff
  2. Cheetah Hunt @ Busch Gardens Tampa and honorable mention to Skyrush @ Hershey.
  3. Wildcat @ Lake Compounce (1927), if you don't count replacing the original wood structure and brakes as different from when it originally opened. Otherwise, Comet @ Hershey Park (1946).
  4. ^It's so perfect, but is there any room to tighten up the turn-around? Even if you can't, it still is fantastic.
  5. ^I'm not really sure how, but all my games scenarios were reset as if I never did them yet I still have the saved games. I don't think I did anything special to reset them. They just reset automatically. Sorry if that doesn't help. Is there an option in 8-cars to increase/decrease land height just like the -1 unit shovel tool in the scenario editor?
  6. How did you do all this by yourself? Did your team members have some input or is that against the rules? It's just an amazing entry and probably will be the best match-up for the polls.
  7. Re-make my park for all I care, I have no qualm with people gaining inspiration from other's work. And ask the ghost, he has it now.
  8. The rapids might be a bit too much for the fountain, regular water is just fine. Nice roof objects (solar panels, where did you get that idea, I wonder?) and buildings. Great wooden coaster also from what we can see.
  9. ^Aren't all costumes for the entertainer always available? I've never seen any option of selecting/disusing different ones.
  10. ^That's a great last pic for the brake run. Change the signs to the name (unless you haven't figured out a name yet, hence the title of the thread). And try changing the paths from the first few screens to the concrete to even out the color Other than that, great work and I'll keep an eye out for this one, also.
  11. Hershey Park---the new path from the entrance gate to Skyrush is pure bliss: watch a great coaster over a scenic lake without the annoyance of people. But this will be gone by the time people realize you can take this path to avoid the crowds of the main path.
  12. I was there today and noticed the same thing. I got on Stormrunner's front row twice and 3 other times walk-on while Fahrenheit I only got once due to longer waits. By 4.00, Skyrush had a 15-20 minute wait (running only 1 train) for maybe the best coaster in the park now. While my thighs hurt from the restraint by the time we got back to the station, the immense drop, massive airtime, beautiful scenery, and seat/restraint design (with the exception of the minimal amount of pain in my legs) was phenomenal. Great addition to the park, it'll be interesting to see where this finishes on people's list.
  13. Wow, those first 2 pictures are perfect. Maybe consider adding a transfer track next to the brake run. But seriously that station is incredibly well done. And that last pic is good with the custom supports, just add foliage (though it is obviously unfinished). By the way, thanks for that tutorial for the windows, I've used it on about 5 different buildings now.
  14. But that's in-game and goes away. Some parks have grass that is permanently mowed in areas without staff.
  15. Is there an option in 8-cars that keeps the grass perfectly cut?
  16. I really like what I see and will take the same approach as AFAblackhawk: PROs -Great layout, station, scenery interaction for the coaster -Good landscaping around the improved waterfall (have you considered the steeper drop for the beginning of the waterfall on the tidal-wave ride?) -mostly realistic (except the waterfall) -great architecture (how did you get those beautiful blue window panes?) CONs -Flowers (try using the blue or pink flowers in some places or on roofs to lessen the amount of brown) -Brown (I hate when people say this. Personally, I'm fine with it but add some shrubs on the wooden buildings or change the support colors.) -lessen the amount of benches/lamps/garbage cans (especially on the stairs of Joe's) Overall, fantastic. Don't read this as an equal amount of good and bad. In fact, it is overwhelmingly great. Looking forward to more.
  17. Well, after 3 months of "voting" and "preparation" (why so long?), the results are in. As you guys predicted, though I confess myself somewhat surprised, Indian Point Ballpark has earned me my first Bronze Accolade with a score of 54.62. I thank you all for the support and praise over the past year of work and proudly debut the park thanks to much of your help. I found myself uninspired at times and the park tedious but comments (like the one above) really do make a difference. Thanks everyone, and I hope to continue showing my parks here with such a great RCT2 community. Come in, download, and leave a comment at NE: http://www.nedesigns.com/park/2356/indian-point-ballpark/ And, of course as R.D. would request, this link is for the upload here at the TPR exchange. http://themeparkreview.com/game_exchange/track.php?id=2716 Next up, Kidron park and I'm shooting for a Silver Accolade.
  18. ^its solid but I think you got a little waterfall-happy. Lower the falls and use less water (that is, if you're going for realism. If not, idealize nature as much as you can.) But the supports, foliage, and coaster (have you considered using the B&M trac?) look great. Please continue

  20. Suicidecarz: fantastic work, just figure something out for that straight section after the loop (maybe a tunnel or through a trench?) and maybe diversify your trees. the ghost: While the building is a little flat, I'm fine with it and actually really like it. But lower those trees or put them 1-3 tiles in front of where they are. Great stuff. Both of you guys, check your Messages at NE.
  21. ^The bus (that's what it is, I think) is the only thing that needs re-working or just shouldn't be there. Otherwise, simply beautiful.
  22. Thanks guys for such positive feedback. I'm trying to mix things around with the brick and vary my wall usage in the entrance, I'll post something when I figure something out. For now, just pics in the "Dump-Place", but I'll get there soon. I knew someone would say something about the hedges, should I keep them? (it was an early attempt to vary the brick wall usage) Agreed, I might just change it to a viewing station. Not yet, but possibly on this park in the future? EDIT: Should I keep the gum-drop bases for the supports of Slither and use the white mint? (or something entirely different?)
  23. So, after Indian Point Ballpark (keep an eye out for news of it), I've started another NCSO park by the name of Kidron Park. As of now, there is no real theme or objective other than to have fun with building it and make my screens look good. I started this after gaining inspiration from a trip to Busch Gardens Tampa about 1 month ago as well as visiting my home park, SFGadv, last Wednesday. With my leaving tomorrow for England and visit to Thorpe Park, hopefully I will gain some more ideas. Most of these pics are unfinished but I either posted this now or in 2 weeks so...here's Kidron: entrance.BMP Entrance path, ticket buildings, and Main Entrance building entrance 2.BMP Same pic, different angle restaurant.BMP The restaurant near the entrance, called the Brickhouse carousel.BMP Entrance fountains myombe 1.BMP Myombe Reserve, just a viewing of gorillas for guests, and a future Rapids ride (where are the names from?) myombe 2.BMP Same pic, different angle myombe 3.BMP The back portion of Myombe Island where guests walk over the water on rocks along the jungle path (unfinished) slither 1.BMP Slither's brake run, queue, and station slither 2.BMP Different angle and the only inversion slither 3.BMP More of Slither and Treetop Flyer (still have to work on entrance/exit booths) slither 4.BMP Slither's turnaround over water, my personal favorite picture, by Myombe's path slither overview.BMP Slither's unfinished overview
  24. I would have started a topic but I got the "blue screen of death" as I was finishing and it corrupted my main file. Fortunately, I had a back-up and can continue. Here's an unfinished pic of an Intamin launch-coaster called Slither (heavily inspired by Cheetah Hunt): slither preview.BMP Slither's brake run, queue, and station (unfinished)
  25. Xtreme97: incredibly done, nothing to criticize here. DarkMaxim: It's a fine landscape, just fill it with an even better park.
