This is definitely a useful new feature. Thanks Robb. -
Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread

As an extra $2 on top of the $5 up-charge, it's really pretty piss poor. I can't see too many people spending the extra 5 to 7 bucks more than once for the whole attraction. It's pretty neat, but not worth the up-charge more than once, at least in my opinion. That said, the attraction must be doing pretty well if some of the other CF parks are adding it as well. The kids do love their dinosaurs. -
Celebrities and Athletes you've met...

I met Bob Villa at a woodworking show some years back. He was there signing autographs. I also met Maple Leafs goalie Jonas Gustavsson at a comic book/card shop signing autographs as well. -

The question is, would that stop any ACER's? -

The Golden Ticket Awards
beatle11 replied to FeelTheFORCE's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I believe the quote was that it "eats Millennium Force and craps it all over Cedar Point." Seems like the Golden Ticket awards are just a popularity contest, and I don't care much for those. -
Lightning Racer is great, but I love the hand slapping on Kennywood's racer.

Diamondback at 11 is ranked ahead of I305 at 13 and Behemoth at 15. T Express is ranked at 39 among woodies. Oh and Cedar Point is not better than Knoebels. Not by a long shot. -
Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread

^Well actually, since it's Canada's Wonderland, that should be a Tim Hortons. -
Lombardi is playing hardball now...good for him. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=375938

^Gustavsson will start the year as Reimer's backup. He's definitely got talent but has had his health issues to deal with so it's been hard for him to develop. I could see him playing 20 to 25 games assuming he plays well enough. Or he could do this every game and take the starting job...that would be fine too.

The leafs since the all star break were the 4th best team in the east. Over the off season they added Liles, Connolly, Lombardi and Franson. Plus with their young players continuing to improve, the Leafs should grab one of the last couple playoff spots in the east. The biggest question will be the goaltending. Reimer is young but has shown alot of calmness and composure already. I have confidence he'll be the guy.

Indiana Beach (IB) Discussion Thread
beatle11 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, I thought that was awesome. Something's gone wrong at IB for sure. I'd like to have more info but the parks decision to shut down early, and them not deciding to shut down the facebook page as to avoid the issue definitely raises huge questions. -

Gotta love Japan. -
Assuming the dog was in as bad condition as reported, SFMM were right to take the dog. At that point, they had the responsibility to take care of it and not lose it. The dog owner failed worse. The question I ask now is, if she brought the dog to the kennel herself like she should have, would SFMM still have lost the dog.
