  1. Excellent photos, as always, Andy. I haven't been to BGT in a few years--need to go back for Falcon's Fury and Cobra's Curse.
  2. Hitachino Nest Commemorative Ale This Japanese import is a very pleasant ale brewed with vanilla bean, coriander, and other spices. It tastes a lot like a Christmas seasonal brew, such as Marley's Lament by Alewerks.
  3. Some coasters can benefit from VR (the two family coasters as Europa come to mind), but I like it that Knott's is going for more of an "arcade" style attraction. They could adapt it for Haunt, too.
  4. I would expect both parks to be fairly busy on Saturday (your Fast Lane will come in handy at KD).
  5. Likely because they haven't found a way to work around the logistical/capacity nightmare VR brings. I think they had a VR-based maze during Halloween Horror Nights last year.
  6. Twisted Colossus is a very good coaster when it doesn't duel, and a great one when it does.
  7. ^Hogwarts Express is both a screen-based attraction and a transportation system--not to mention a way to ensure that Potter fans buy a two-park ticket.
  8. However this would cause BGW to lose some of its best attraction names. Le Catapult How about "Katapulten"?
  9. I would consider this money well spent.
  10. Celebrator Doppelbock Good stuff! Not heavily carbonated, with a nice malty taste.
  11. Although I'lll miss Kanonen, I like what they're doing with that section of the park--some very good re-theming.
  12. Alewerks Tavern Ale (American Brown Ale) on tap at the Movie Tavern.
  13. I imagine mine will be Busch Gardens Williamsburg on March 18 (Passholder Preview Day). Shocking, I know.
  14. Yeah, considering that SeaWorld's food has never been all that good.
  15. I agree. It's pointless to complain about "sight lines" in an active construction zone.
  16. It's already a great drop tower without the VR.
  17. You might be able to purchase a "one-off" Quick Queue for Tempest and InvadR in the park, but they're not part of the daily Quick Queue packages.
  18. I tried out a Tall Tales Red Headed Stepchild last night. This is an OK Irish red ale that leans a bit toward the sweet side--just an average craft brew.
  19. I can't tell you how excited I am about this.
  20. ^Maybe they've combined a Topple Tower with a Ferris Wheel. Or, most likely, the photo was shot from a somewhat skewed perspective.
  21. So do I. It's amazing how well they use their space.
  22. ^Agreed! I would've loved to have been there. I've never been all that crazy about New Year's Eve parties, but I'd definitely attend this one.
  23. I always go back to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Arrogant Bastard Ale. Sierra Nevada Celebration, their Christmas brew, is also excellent.
