Thanks for the report Caesar. I'm looking forward to riding Battle for Metropolis (here or elsewhere). Magic Mountain has always been lacking when it comes to dark rides.
Hitachino Nest Commemorative Ale
This Japanese import is a very pleasant ale brewed with vanilla bean, coriander, and other spices. It tastes a lot like a Christmas seasonal brew, such as Marley's Lament by Alewerks.
Some coasters can benefit from VR (the two family coasters as Europa come to mind), but I like it that Knott's is going for more of an "arcade" style attraction. They could adapt it for Haunt, too.
Likely because they haven't found a way to work around the logistical/capacity nightmare VR brings.
I think they had a VR-based maze during Halloween Horror Nights last year.
^Hogwarts Express is both a screen-based attraction and a transportation system--not to mention a way to ensure that Potter fans buy a two-park ticket.
I tried out a Tall Tales Red Headed Stepchild last night.
This is an OK Irish red ale that leans a bit toward the sweet side--just an average craft brew.
