  1. I have had the Dole Whip in Hawaii, and it is heaven, especially with fresh pineapple served in it. I hope SFMM's Dole Whips taste just as good. Disney offers Dole Whip floats in pineapple juice, which sounds healthy and decadent at the same time. It's good to see this treat showing up in more parks.
  2. ^Sometimes, Coen Brothers' movies have to grow on you a bit. I think Big Lebowski is pretty funny; however, I have friends who love The Husdsucker Proxy, a movie that bored me to death. I was in the mood for a horror flick last night, so I checked out Chernobyl Diaries. It was passable, but this whole "Blair Witch" subgenre is feeling a bit played out.
  3. ^Perhaps you were so woozy after one ride that you thought you rode it five times.
  4. Hmm--interesting that Dole Whip is no longer the "exclusive" treat of Disney. Or have other parks been serving it for years, too? I've only seen it at Disneyland and WDW. EDIT: Did a little googling. It seems that they serve Dole Whip and the Dole Plantation on Hawaii (makes sense), Lapperts Ice Cream Shops in California, and Mr. B's Ice Cream and Food in Latrobe, Pa.
  5. I remember them using a shop vac to suck up the water when the boats came into the station back in 2006.
  6. Yeah, I think they're meant to keep you from kicking the next car.
  7. ^There's nothing restraining your feet--just a lapbar.
  8. It's nice to see the Valhalla facade back in top shape again--what changes did they make inside?
  9. ^Mybe they're planning to offer deep-fried shakes.
  10. "You'll have to speak up! I'm on the freakin' Cyclone! At least the service is great up here!"
  11. I didn't realize that the train's erxit from the station was in the shape of the Superman logo--that's a nice touch. I'm also a fan of the noninverting loop, so it's good to see another coaster (other than RRnR at Universal) using it.
  12. Which one do you mean, then? Bandit is disturbingly rough, but they changed parts of the track for this (or last?) season, I think... And Anaconda was more boring than really rough, as far as I remember now. But I might mix something up here. Anyway, Coaster Express was worse. My back (and lower back) hurt for at least ten days. No fun at all on the way back to northern Germany by car (aprox. 18-20 hours)... Never again! Anaconda was worse than Bandit when I rode them in 2008. Both were painful experiences.
  13. Personally, I think you were right the first time, but I've never been to Parque Warner.
  14. Odd. I had a premonition that you'd say that. I have no idea why . . .
  15. ^This is Prolwer! Those infidels should be on their knees! I kid, but I do think Prowler is a very good ride.
  16. That Deadwood train ride is suprisingly extensive for such a small park--love the random alien stuff.
  17. Sad to see two Schwarzkopf Coasters and at least one Schwarzkopf flat rotting away I hope RD doesn't see this I think he did, and is now in seclusion, mourning quietly.
  18. ^I concur completely. Thunder Coaster is absolutely nuts after a good rain. Riding Apollo's Chariot during a rainstorm, however, is like getting stung in the face by a thousand bees.
  19. The answer is "yes." You also need to be skilled in quantity land surveying and macrame.
  20. ^Which I presume never ran?
  21. ^I imagine being the only major "roller coaster" park in a densely populated area doesn't hurt, either.
  22. Same here. It rarely had any appreciable line when I've visited the Magic Kingdom (unlike the always insane line for Peter Pan).
  23. ^I think the ride's fun, too--but the queue was the most impressive part.
  24. ^I think this ride has the best, most elaborate queue anywhere--beautifully done.
