  1. This ride definitely looks "Prowler-like," which is OK by me. Good to see more airtime hills on a GCI.
  2. ^^I'm not sure about the other parks, but KD is sending groups of riders in shifts--for example, an hour on I305, an hour on Rebel Yell, etc.--and using Coasting for Kids participants to fill empty seats. So, as Robb said, I don't think you can go line up for something else.
  3. Someone opened a good cupcake bakery in Williamsburg, too. This is one food trend I support completely!
  4. ^I didn't know she smoked.
  5. ^X:\No Way Out So bad, it's actually a bit endearing.
  6. Universal Osaka is an excellent "greatest hits of Universal" park--with the added bonus of Hollywood Dream (and this is an especially good picture of a very photogenic coaster).
  7. The Legoland people definitely brought something to Cypress Gardens that the developers of Adventure Park lacked: actual knowledge about what they're doing.
  8. So, would you say that this production of Evita is "sexy" and "seductive," but not "sublime"?
  9. ^^Wes, they should do that for Howl-o-Scream. Nothing would be more terrifying than ghostly voices from angry Facebook fans.
  10. Jack Rabbit has one of the best "Holy crap!" moments of any wooden coaster.
  11. It certainly wasn't the worst ride, and I do actually enjoy it's layout...a LOT...but it was REALLY rough when we rode it last year. It used to be in my top 5 wood coasters in the late 90s. I wish they could do something to it to make it AWESOME again. Same. I rode it the first year they had the Millennium Flyer trains and liked it a lot--last year at ECB, not so much.
  12. I just kicked in $20 for Robert McKay, who now needs just $35 to reach the minimum of $75. Let's help him out, folks!
  13. ^I kinda like Timberwolf, as well. I think with a little "love," it could be a great ride.
  14. ^Verbolten was foolish, indeed, to invoke its wrath.
  15. I agree--using chains instead of metal rods to hold the seats adds an extra "thrill" factor.
  16. ^Thanks for the update. I'm guessing they found a defective part somewhere.
  17. There are issues with both riders being too small, as well. For example, Water Country won't allow single riders on Aquazoid, their big family raft ride. Seems that two small boys were in a raft, and the thing "valleyed" because they couldn't work up enough momentum because they lacked sufficient weight.
  18. Nemesis at Alton. Grand National and Steeplechase at Blackpool are quite good, too.
  19. I guess that would depend on the stranger.
  20. ^At least it isn't as bad as the Internet firestorm when Cheetah Hunt had it's opening-day issues. Many of the posters are being pretty reasonable. The guy with the BBW story was obviously just a troll seeking attention.
  21. Ho, ho, ho! Psycho Santa wishes you a very scary Christmas!
  22. The pirate boat ride is what intrigues me the most about this park--looks like a nice place.
