Luckily enough there is nothing "redneck" about the attractions at the park. All the conversions of buckets and machinery is really well engineered.
Yes, the "redneck" amusement rides in the states look downright dangerous. I'm pretty sure I'd need a ginger ale to settle my stomach after riding the Spin Dizzy, though.
Oh come on Chuck, I "broke" this exclusive news on TPR when it was announced
Forgot about that--sorry, Larry. I guess I should've done more excavation on the site to find that info.
Hmm--yeah, not a very cool move, KD Golden Years. Be sure to give credit where credit is due. (Or are you, in fact, Dale Brumfield?)
As for Hurler, it was a good, airtime-filled (believe it or not) ride. But it did not age well.
^I had the same issue with Gatekeeper's restraints (but not with Wild Eagle's); however, I think that issue was resolved with Cedar Point's ride (so maybe B&M has applied it to the other Wing coasters, too).
^^I'll go along with that. It would be great to have seen the original Coney parks in their heyday.
I've always been intrigued by the old Freedomland U.S.A. park in New York City's Bronx. It certainly had an interesting layout.
