  1. Do not poke the bear in his den!
  2. Well, you might try a Tempesto Panini over in Festa Italia--a grilled provolone sandwich with sun-dried tomato pesto.
  3. Which is, I would guess, not saying much?
  4. The menus are online for this year's Food and Wine Festival. Many returning favorites, of course; of the new stuff, I'm most intrigued by the Mushi-Gyoza and Ginger and Lemongrass Custard at the Eastern Asia booth. You can sample Scotch this year, too. What are other people looking forward to at Food and Wine?
  5. When Busch Gardens Williamsburg announces the return of Drachen Fire.
  6. Young Star Coaster--Chimelong Paradise
  7. How about a 4D coaster where you ride in the barrels the big apes are rolling at each other?
  8. All I know is that Bayern Curves can be a lot of fun.
  9. A new water heater--ouch!
  10. ZDT's Amusement Park has provided another construction update!
  11. I'm sure a lot of us are still excited for Kong. But of course we also heard rumors and saw construction going on already. This Nintendo announcement was out of nowhere it seems. Plus it's freaking Nintendo. They might as well retheme Kong into Donkey Kong because holy crap that would be awesome. Yep--it's not like Kong was all that big a secret.
  12. ^They're very excited over the possibility of having their picture taken with Wario.
  13. ^You now have 20 more bucks of my money!
  14. Tony Stark would hit on Elasti Girl.
  15. After seeing Orphan Rocker in person back in 2011, and photos of it since, I doubt very much that it is "salvageable." I think Scenic World would be better off starting from scratch.
  16. As long as they don't make a sequel to the live-action Mario Bros. movie.
  17. ^Aside from the fact that Flying Turns actually opened.
  18. I lean toward fiction, but I also read a fair amount of history.
  19. My problem with the CGI effects is that it feels like I'm just watching a big cartoon. Physical sets and effects help, and animation can be combined effectively with animatronics (the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom is a good example). That being said, Spider-man is still my favorite ride at Universal, followed by Mummy and Men in Black.
  20. Coke Zero with a hint of lime from the Freestyle machine at Five Guys.
