  1. G: Gamera, Guardian of the Universe
  2. The park itself looks very nice, even if the rides aren't that "inspiring." I am curious about that funky looking dark ride.
  3. I do like the pink donuts with sprinkles at Universal Orlando.
  4. Dominator is a very good ride--KD definitely got the best from Geauga Lake.
  5. Xinhua Park--China
  6. I am intrigued by this ride. I guess if I survived Insane at Grona Lund, I can survive Batman.
  7. Victory Kingdom (China)
  8. I like Epcot quite a bit, mainly for the atmosphere--not to mention Food and Wine in the fall.
  9. As Guy said, you didn't miss much. The best ride there was Night in White Satin: The Trip.
  10. ^After watching some video, the Hatbox Ghost was pretty much what I expected.
  11. Sierra Nevada Torpedo.
  12. I haven't been to Phantasialand since 2008, and I'd love to visit it again. It really has made a lot of improvements since then--but I hope they keep the truly cheesy Hollywood Tour boat ride.
  13. ^I think it all looks pretty dumb. They probably should've stuck with the Heath Ledger Joker from The Dark Knight. That was a "re-imagining" that worked.
  14. I would like, once again, tho thank all those who have donated to my Coasting for Kids page. I'm now only $120 away from making my goal of $1,000!
  15. ^No one is complaining about the Hatbox Ghost itself, which does look good. But hardcore Disney fans have over-hyped the new figure a bit. That being said, Disney is using projection technology very well.
  16. The big difference is that Thunder Run is enjoyable, unlike the Hurlers.
  17. ^And the tears of coaster enthusiasts who never made it to the park.
  18. Memorial Day should be slower than Saturday or Sunday that weekend.
  19. Well, let's not go crazy here. I still prefer I305, but Fury 325 was a lot of fun.
  20. Yep--the platform revolved, ascended and descended, and moved horizontally to different rooms. It was a very cool system (like something you'd see at a Disney park).
  21. I was pretty impressed with how well many of the rides were lit there during my first visit--especially Millennium Force.
  22. I am in favor of "Chocolate Cookie Mint Madness." However, I draw the line at eating at a joint with a name inspired by motor oil.
  23. ^I liked it, too, although neither I nor the friends I saw it with are completely clear on just what happened. The uncertainty isn't a bad thing, though, and the movie never bored me.
