  1. Here's an announcement about SeaWorld's Summer Nights 2015. Light Up the Night with Shamu Night rides on Kraken Manta after dark Beach Party at Aquatica
  2. Yep--those elephant ears are might tasty, as are the redneck biscuits.
  3. Yes, those trims have been there for a long time--and the ride is still intense and amazing.
  4. If you're into trained house cats, you might like it.
  5. Regarding all this speculation about whether Cedar Fair "owes" Kings Dominion a new coaster (or when the park will get one), I have only this to say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7PrQX-bGCI
  6. Good question. Was Expoland in Japan shut down for an extended period after the fatal Fujin Raijin coaster accident in 2007?
  7. ^Hmm--sketchy. I: Indiana Beach
  8. Am I crazy or is that Elvis on the water slide? Being as this is a first-of-its-kind coaster, I imagine there will be kinks to work out. As for being "riddled with problems," time will tell.
  9. I, too, find this thread puzzling.
  10. ^Busch Gardens Williamsburg just completely rehabbed theirs--complete with new logs. I'm intrigued by the "three interactive themed buildings" of Calaway's new flume.
  11. WhiteWater Waterpark and Attractions has built a new flume ride at Calaway Park in Canada. This company is very well known for great water slides (such as the new Hurricane Heights slide complex at Kings Dominion's Soak City), but this is their first "themed attraction." Grand Opening Log Cutting Ceremony. Attendees from left to right: Bob Williams, Jeremiah Davis, Steve Kostumo, Royce Chwin, Ryley Shooter, Erika Kulbach, Jeff Hessel, & Gordon Dixon. Ride and theming Splash!
  12. Robb answered this question a few pages back........ Yes, I'm sure Alton Towers is going to get right on that removing their $30 million investment over this accident. Just like Six Flags Over Texas removed Texas Giant or Six Flags New England removed Superman.... And let's not forget that someone was actually killed on Big Thunder at Disneyland, and that ride is as popular as ever. Best to wait for the results of an investigation, rather than jump to conclusions.
  13. That is the most frightening looking figurehead I've ever seen on a coaster train.
  14. ^Your question is a bit broad, but I think the one key piece of advice for this season is to get on Tempesto first thing.
  15. Agreed. Theme-park guests are the real winners here.
  16. I'm sure that some Scotch whiskey would make this park even more enjoyable.
  17. My thanks to the park for the photos. I'm really intrigued by this ride.
  18. This may surprise you, but I would highly recommend riding the very back row for the most "thrilling" expierence! But if you want the best view while riding, then I would recommend the very front row. Yep.
  19. Based on some photos of the train, this isn't too surprising. Very sad, indeed.
  20. As usual, Tokyo Disney kicks things up to the next level.
