I have recently gotten into photography. I decided to take my camera on a quick trip to Fantasy Island yesterday. I shot most of these in manual mode with f-stops ranging from 4-15 and variable shutter speeds. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve my photography please let me know. We arrived around 1PM, with our discounted tickets in hand. The Golden Nugget. New for 2011 Mind Warp (It could be called whiplash because that is pretty much half of the ride.) The modest Ferris wheel. This was my favorite ride there. Long ride cycle allowed for some great views. Not too tall, but tall enough. The "spinning" Wild Mouse. I'm a fan of Disk-O's. Reasonably priced games! And they have IGOTIT! It rained a little bit, so the slides were closed while the crew dried them off. Wild west theming, love it. This slide beat me up a little bit. Silver Comet at it's peak. I spy a frog hopper. The Toilet Bowl. While a lot of the park is pavement, there are some nice gardens near the entrance. Sssscchhhh! Sleeping Giant! All Aboard! They have a great selection of rides for little kids. They even have some playground slides. The Free canoes was a highlight of the day. You got to canoe around a small island inhabited by Native American Statues. The reason why we're here. Nerd Shot! Nice Curves! The Support Structure. Down they go! Do the Disk-O! No Thanks! First time on one of these, fun! From the ferris wheel. Weee! Do they know what they are in for? I don't think so! Splash! Drenched! There is also a nice car ride. Everyone loves the Star-Flyer! Mind Warping in progress. Awesome, intense, Ride. Nerd Shot! Comet! Everybody Loves the Silver Comet! This was my first Photo TR, if you have any comments or criticisms please let me know. I'm planning a trip to Cedar Point for next year. I have a quick question. What's the earliest you can check into breakers express? I'm on the website now and I can't seem to find it... or I'm missing it. Any insight would be appreciated.

Having the exact same name as a serial killer, or high profile murderer. In addition, you are out of a job and have to put that name on all your job applications... making it nearly impossible to land an interview. What's worse than the local community college dropping a class you need to graduate two semesters in a row. In addition, your advisor retired and the school hasn't issued you a new one yet... so you can't talk to anybody about it. Finally, you were supposed to graduate in December... but that isn't going to happen now. (True story...)

I'm not finding too much to complain about here. The ride looks pretty sweet. The trains looks cool, hopefully the "wing" seats will ride smooth and not bounce. Looks like a great addition for HP.

"In the end only 4 will ride." Not sure, it could be referencing the train design. Perhaps "In the end" means in the last car. Intamin trains have 4 seats per car... Just an idea.

^I care. I love Skyride! It's one of the coolest things about the park. Can you really imagine the midway without Skyride?

They offered you free tickets, that seems fair enough... I have been injured at a water park before. I suffered a large cut across the top of my foot. I went to first aid and got bandaged up, grabbed an ibuprofen from the car, and enjoyed the rest of my day. After finishing up at the water park I made sure to disinfect and clean my cut to be safe. As for being over crowded, let's be honest. You would have been royally pissed of you were turned away at the gate. Let's just be real here. They closed the water slide for your safety. Be it mechanical issues or weather conditions. If it was a mechanical issue maybe they didn't explain it to you because they didn't know what the issue was yet. In addition, hot day = long lines at water parks. That has always been the case. Mach Tower's opening is delayed... If you did a quick google search before departing on your trip you would have known this. Even so, it's one ride. Enjoy the rest of the park. Lastly, rides break down. This is usually out of park management's control. They do their best to return rides to operation as quickly and safely as possible. I don't think that Busch Gardens ruined your day, I think your attitude ruined your day. Some tips for the future, avoid weekends and try to plan your trips around the least crowded days. Try to hit the more popular rides in the morning or when everyone is eating lunch / dinner. And check the parks website or Facebook page to see which rides are operating, or ask at the gate. I really hope you took those free tickets. And I'm sure if you choose to go again you'll have a great time!

Paramount? I didn't expect to see them back in the Amusement park business for a while... If ever. I'm not sure why everybody wants to "beat Disney." While WDW and other Disney parks are wonderful. Smaller, more localized parks can be just as good. Anyway, I have no idea if thing will flop or fly. It just seems, off... in my opinion.

Living in a hostel, where your neighbors are extremely loud and obnoxious nudists! What is worse than losing your key to your locker?

I love log flumes, any kind... But my favorite is Dudly Do-Right at IOA. Second to that is probably the log flume at Martin's Fantasy Island. Looks lame, but you get drenched!

An inferno Ignighting intamin headquarters, destroying all blueprints of El Toro and other rides. Ensuring that no pre-fab woodies could be created for the next 5+ years. (I know they probably have backups, but still.) What's worse than your favorite in park food stand having a long line, with only 1 register open?

^ Finding human poop "skidmarks" on a coaster seat. What is worse than riding a rollercoaster next to, or in front of, "the narrator." For example; "OH MY, WE'RE GOING UP! WE'RE GOING UP! WE'RE AT THE TOP! OH LAWDY! WE'RE GOING DOWN! HERE IS THE LOOP! WE'RE UPSIDE DOWN!.."

Rockin' Roller Coast. Mr Six. or the "More Flags, More Fun!" head?

^ If you were in attendance at the park during said fire. What's worse than soggy French fries?

John Butler Trio in Lockport, NY. It was a free concert and honesty the best concert I've ever attended. If you don't know who John Butler is, you're missing out!

I just rode mind warp at Martin's Fantasy Island last week... And while it did not scare the crud out of me, it was defiantly way more intense than I expected. You know that you are in for a ride when the ride-op instructs you how to brace yourself during the ride! Further more, the intense part is not the first half where the whole structure is flipping, it's the second half when the seats unlock and it's just swinging and whiplash. There was defiantly points during the ride where the adrenaline started pumping.
