I don't think we will see a new coaster until atleast 2014. Even when we do, I don't think it will be very large, more on the family size scale. As far as next year goes, I'm also hoping/thinking we will see a thrilling flat ride or something done to the Action Theater finally. If we happen to get Dinsosaurs Alive I think that we could see the movie that Kings Island got this year. I just do not understand the upcharge for a 3-D movie...

Yeah our last WaterWorks upgrade was in 2007 when we got Tornado, Zoom Flume, and Tidal Wave Bay. That was a pretty large upgrade and looking at Cedar Fair's investments chain wide it doesn't seem like they are very interested in the water parks. Of course, everything could change soon considering that there is a new guy in charge of everything. I'm hoping for anything but Dinosaurs Alive!

No offense to Cedar Fair, but the whole "Dinosaurs Alive!" thing is a complete joke! The only time I could see it being nice is in the Spring for the "Education Days" so students can actually learn something at the park and schools would have an excuse to take a field trip to the park. I could understand if they made these things travel around the chain each year, but to buy multiple sets of them seems a little pointless... I mean seriously, how many people would want to do this more than once?

The difference in height of a Windseeker and Flying Ace is not even comparable. 300' compared to what? 70'... I do think sooner or later when we do see a KidZville/Planet Snoopy update that Blue's Clues house will be demolished and that's where the new attractions will go. I just don't think KD would make 2 back-to-back "family"/"kiddie" additions with the audience that they target, so I think we will get somewhat of a thrill ride next year. Plus, I think that they would want a little something to compete with BGW's new launched coaster that they can advertise. The blue building in between KidZville and the Congo was just renovated last year for the Haunt maze "The Doll Factory" so I'm sure that will be there for a few years to come. For 2012, I think we will see a "thrilling" flat ride. A Windseeker though? IDK, I don't think that's what we are getting, but it is my best guess.

Intimidator 305 for the 35th time for 2011!

Thanks for the pictures! I really like the atmosphere of the whole park at night... and especially being able to see pictures of it since not many people take pictures at night. I know I've said this before in another thread, but I seriously think that KD might just have one of the best (if not the best) Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular. The other ones just seem sooooo "random" and just plopped down in a random section of the park, but KD's isn't like that at all. I thought the other ones were very cool for the lights, but when you looked at the details of them it kind of had you going "wtf?" with the odd theming and sections of the show. KD's is very nicely planned out and organized how they put it only around the inner base of the Eiffel Tower and on Center Walkway. The giant characters are only around the base of the Eiffel Tower and the giant comic strips are only on Center Walkway. The whole area is strictly just for the Eiffel Tower and the light show, nothing else is in the way which makes it feel like it is an attraction of it's own how it should be. Plus, the way the lights go to music with the canopy of trees is pretty awesome as well! Anyways, nice pictures, can't wait for the video! Thanks again... BTW, I really like the lighting and angle of this picture!

They had a decent crowd there last Wednesday too and I was shocked! I couldn't believe how crowded it was for a weekday when some of the schools hadn't even gotten out yet. It seems like KD is bringing in quite the amount of people this season... Let's just say, you won't see me there on a Saturday until Halloween Haunt! Also, I've heard nothing but positive reviews of KD's Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular. And by the videos/pictures I've seen it might be the best one in the chain IMO. I can't wait to check it out!

Well I was talking about the look of the ride, the amount of ground turns, and the airtime hills... I should have made that more clear, I apologize. Intimidator 305 only has 3 actual extreme "s" transitions. There is a lot more to the ride than those 3 transitions and besides those I feel like this ride will be the closest ride to Intimidator 305 in the US once it is built...

Carowinds is a good park. The best two rides are by far Afterburn and Intimidator. Afterburn isn't the best invert and Intimidator isn't the best hyper coaster out there, but they sure are the two best things in the park that make the park worth visiting! Not every park can say that they have 2 great B&M's. The park really needs a good Intamin or two (preferably a launch) for me to visit it more than once a season though... BTW, fantastic photos!

I cannot wait for this coaster! I figured I wouldn't ever get back to Hershey, but as soon as I heard an Intamin hyper and that it is basically going to be a mini Intimidator 305, I told my family that we must check it out next year! I can't wait to see the layout!

^^ I just wish they would have put it where the yellow track began... An extra 10- feet of supports couldn't of cost that much more Six Flags!

Flight of Fear takes the cake for "squeezed into" at Kings Dominion!

More than likely the ride wasn't the exact color of the sky which probably frustrated those crazy neighborhoods around BGW... Or they might be painting a design like the concept art had? I thought the tower itself looked way too plain for a Busch park, even Paramount attempted to make them look a bit more interesting.
