Great TR from another one of those parks that are rarely seen! The theming looked quite decent as well!

I love WayForward Games! Robb, were you involved in either Mighty Flip Champs or Shanate Risky's Revenge? Those remain my two favorite DSiWare releases of all time!

And now it's time to sort out the SLC trains! They have already actually. The Great Nor' Easter was the first to feature the new SLC trains with the vest style restraint. -

3 Epic California Parks, One Week!

Nice to see a ride op actually doing their job and telling you to put your camera away! It seems ride ops don't care most of the time anymore... -
As of now I know of 3-4 different parks that are holding out on their 2012 additions. They may be one of those parks holding out. Honestly, most announcements are not made until the fall, so I wouldn't spend the whole summer waiting for an announcement that might arrive thin fall. I don't think they know either.... Between ride removals, the stadium, and everything else, I feel the only major announcement they'll have this year is it's closing... I could (and hope) I'm wrong though.

The "Preview" Thread
SoCalCoasters replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Found this old old old old old screenshot that I took back in 06' when I first got RCT3 Soaked, and was obessessed with a certain popular show. Can Anyone Guess What That Show Might Be? Shot0361.bmp Time And Relative Distance In Space.... Anyone know the acronym? I may end up turning this into an actual project eventually, but with Hethetheth doing a ride of similar origin, it would be considered a knockoff, so I'm holding out for now... -

I actually got this game the other day! It's a great side scroller with some pretty amazing boss battles, great job Robb! Does your company plan on releasing any 3DS titles in the future? -
New 2011: Rainbow Magicland Themepark (near Rome - Italy)

It appears as if the Vekoma Rollerskater is going to use the new train type that first appeared on Ben 10: Ultimate Mission this year. Seems that is going to be the standard issue train from now on... This park is looking great! Shock: The Steam Machine is definitely going to be a great ride! The other attraction I'm looking forward to in particular is the indoor spinning coaster. Can anyone tell me what it's themed too? I couldn't quite figure out what is was.... -
Anyone know if it was higher speeds and forces that caused them to use the Blue Fire style track instead of the skinnier, previous track style used in Sierra Sidewinder? This looks like a great ride! I hope Mack gets more of these built because they're fantastic! I actually prefer them over the Gertslauer Spinners.

Most Overrated coaster?
SoCalCoasters replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did you ride it in the back row? The forces differ a bit depending on where you sit, and I've found my backseat rides to be much more intense than a front seat ride. I actually love the batman clones, I find them to be very good a forceful old-school inverts. As for an overrated coaster? I'd say (don't kill me) Superman Escape from Kypton. Don't get me wrong, they made some fantastic improvements to the ride, but people seem to think it's the best ride ever.... I honestly liked the ride, but I can easily name 15-20 coasters that I've ridden that I'd rate higher than it... -

I'm wondering how many more coasters Grona Lund is going to fit into that space they have, just insane! It seems all the coasters at this park are fantastic, and I can't wait to visit it some day! Twister looks fantastic! -
Photo TR: Elissa & KT Visit Legoland!
SoCalCoasters replied to SharkTums's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great trip report Elissa! it's always interesting to see other people's perspectives on Legoland, since I live 5 minutes away, I've been spoiled when it comes to park trips. I do agree that some of the Str Wars Areas looked very rushed (Geonosis, Mustfar And Hoth) Still with all these "mini" additions for 2011, they seem to be keeping us in suspense for the 2012 addition. Seeing as all other SoCal Parks seems to be gearing up for so ething big, it would make sense Legoland will add something as well. I guess I'll have to hang on to my Resort Pass for another year! -
Fuji-Q Highlands Discussion Thread

Anyone know exactly what this is themed too? It seems as if it has a theme, considering that it has a dark ride section with a barrel roll ala Saw The Ride....
