Honestly, it's more convenient for me to see $12 a month coming out of my account then to go through the hassle of renewing every year. If you're busy, you just don't have time to remember to do it until it's too late. Just like Netflix (which I believe started all of this), just take your money every month and leave me alone.

You're comparing a mall with hundreds of stores with the Knott's Marketplace which has like ten stores? My point is parking and accessibility. You can't compare the two. I don't know how California works but Washington requires notices to be on the actual location. I'd be surprised if CA wasn't the same. I'm never going to complain about more eating options...ever lol. Parking in California is always a little dicey. I think most people are used to it.

Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't use actual primer on RR. You can't prime with normal paint. Other paint won't stick to it. Primer is not just an undercoat. It is a flat non-gloss paint that is specially designed to bond to what coat is laid over it. Looking at the photos of when they were painting it the "primer" appeared to be regular colored semi-gloss paint. I'm pretty sure the company that was contracted to paint the ride wasn't that stupid. There are most likely other factors involved. No, they're just magnetic brakes. The spin on Green Lantern cannot be manipulated like the S&S models. The only thing they can do, besides slowing the ride down, to control the spin is to put a magnetic brake on the spin axis of the car itself. The reason that Green Lantern doesn't 'spin' as well as other Intamin counterparts is because of a stronger brake. So now it may not spin at all? I guess it's just a drop ride now lol

^ Six Flags has a totally different business model then Cedar Fair unfortunately. It would be interesting to see how SF would pull off a $200 season pass price while guests used to the cheap price sit around waiting for them to clean up their parks. That's a lot of good will to ask from your guests. Honestly, I like SFMM's current approach of going a section at a time, giving areas upgrades. Who ever came up with that deserves a promotion...oh wait. If Neal (Thurman) runs the park even half of the way his mentor did, I think we'll see some improvement across the board.

^ Well I was partly teasing you, but sure I'd like to see some of the same things...but let's face it, even if that does happen, you're not getting ANY of that stuff without also adding big rides to appease the park's demo, as well as stockholders. And the big rides are going to always be the larger priority. Unless SFMM winds up in the hands of a more competent operator with wads of disposable cash. I no longer have time for all that. I'm going for the big rides, and going home.

^ It's been YEARS since iv'e been on Rapids. I wonder if it's possible to modify it in some way so that it can share space with another ride. I would imagine if this new ride is opening in 2019, Roaring Rapids would have already been toast if they were going to completely remove it. BTW, Screamscape seems to think the park may be getting a Time Traveler style Mack spinner. But the way you keep using the word ginormous makes me think more of a Tatsu like investment. " While a giant Dive Machine is still possible, another rumor has surfaced this time around, claiming that the park may be eyeballing the Mack Rides built Time Machine coaster opening at Silver Dollar City in 2018, that will feature a vertical dive, launches and most importantly... spinning cars... something that SFMM has yet to add to their lineup".
