  1. Yup, it's looking very nice so far.
  2. Just got back from the park. Weather called for thunderstorms all day so that kept the crowds away. And it turned out it was sunny all day, but started storming at about 6:30 which is when basically everyone decided to leave. Intimidator305 x12 Volcano x2 Drop Tower x2 BUMPER CARS x2 Dominator x1 Rebel Yell x1 Ricochet x1 Backlot Stunt Coaster x1 Barely any lines all day. None of the switchbacks were used on Volcano, or any other ride really. i305 was a walk on, none of the rides suffered downtime, basically a perfect day. Oh, and my blackouts on i305 were INSANELY strong. And I was eating the whole day, too. The worst was when I didn't get my vision back until right after the bottom of the second hill. My three friends agreed, too, so it's not just my body being weird...
  3. Didn't Mantis valley opening day last year?
  4. I saw the commercial too, but I didn't notice it saying anything about shaking. I just remember the music-stopping. Hopefully that's not all that'll be in store!
  5. Loving the huge amount of photos in each update! Can't wait to see what the Six Flags South Carolina finale year has in store!
  6. This is also supposed to be geared more towards families... Now THAT looks incredible! I can't wait to see this thing open! Zerier has now catapulted themselves into the major leagues with this amazing looking attraction! Well Cheetah Hunt has a near-vertical drop (or at least an ascent) and also an inversion and it's still considered a family coaster.
  7. What in the world are high flyers?
  8. Well I knew I was missing something! I remember getting an account there a while ago but like normal I don't remember the password. Anyone wanna post the pictures up here?
  9. Remember guys, submit any past or present park you may have! You never know if it could win an award in the future!
  10. Well, I've looked all week and I'm missing a couple cords so I guess that was one big waste of time!
  11. King's Dominion - 4/1 Busch Gardens Williamsburg- 5/1 I'll hopefully be getting down to Carowinds this weekend!
  12. I think it's a little catchy too...but so, so annoying!
  13. KD's got i305, which beats any coaster at Busch Gardens. Dominator, Volcano, Flight of Fear are all extremely fun rides while Grizzly and Rebel Yell are classic woodies. Anaconda is like Nessie (a little rougher) and then KD has coasters like Shockwave and Hurler which aren't all that great, but are still worth a shot since the lines usually aren't long. Sure Busch Gardens is the world's most beautiful park, and I love that place, but I easily choose a season pass to KD over Busch. Unlike you, B-RadG, I'm not saying anyone's personal opinion is wrong. I'm just saying what I think as I've been going to these parks for years.
  14. Crazy, crazy children, an opinion can't be a false statement. BGW and KD are equal distances away from me and I chose to get a season pass to KD because in my opinion, I think it's the better park.
  15. Well, what KD doesn't have in theming it makes up for coasters. I prefer KD over BGW too.
  16. I would love to! I missed the one last year so getting another chance to go would be great.
  17. I've dreamt of an indoor Cedar Point too! It was one big mall and it's the only dream that I've actually ridden a ride without interruption. Although the coasters had completely different layouts...
  18. I've had this same avatar since I joined. Needless to say, it's i305 on a stormy May afternoon.
  19. Hurler at Kings Dominion. I still think it has a nice amount of airtime, isn't too rough, and always has a short line.
