Hmmm. I was also there, and also got a video. I guess you beat me too it. I'll upload some additional photos of stuff today! It would seam they are not going to start launching from the second launch point til later this week, unlike how they said it would start today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y30cSCpafwp Since the person above already posted most of the photo's I took, I won't bother uploads similar shots. Just at this moment, I guess some of the concrete couldn't hold. It just splattered to the ground. I guess it wasn't that big of a problem though. Some Insider shots. There's not much construction left, so here's some artsy shots. Artsy Some shots that no one really takes. So here they are. Yes. from this point of view, it looks like so much more needs to be done.

Wonderful news, I'm getting my Passport for the park renewed, so I'll be able to post regular updates on construction again. (Like I was doing March of last year ) I'm also heading over Sunday, most likely. Hard to imagine how much has changed since I last went last year. New Gwazi Trains, few new shows, Cheetah Hunt testing. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I appreciate your willingness to stand up for the guy, but thinking it's correct is quite a stretch. Truly, All information is not creditable unless coming directly from the company. I'm not criticizing him, but his information source. If you want to play it off as a fun rumor, sure. But I prefer much more then a hunch, but that's just me. I stand by my original post, regardless if that makes me sound "stubborn" to you. Back on topic however, this project is looking pretty fine. I can't wait to see how it rides, let's just hope it's a improvement. Since this is a new ride system, who knows what could happen.

Don't get me wrong, but I'm pretty sure employees most of time are left out the open to prevent leaks of information. I can't see a Dippin Dot's person at one theme park knowing about the corporate plans of another theme park 2-3 years ahead, even if it's run by the same people. Most of the time, they won't say anything to regular employees until something happens that requires them to do so, like construction. I will use Seaworld Parks and Entertainment for an instance, granted it's not six flags. The General Staff of Busch Gardens Tampa were left out in the air about Cheetah Hunt until about a month and a half in after construction started. Some employees knew because of the coaster communities and the leaked information, but management didn't tell any of them anything til after. Granted, this is Seaworld Parks and Entertainment, not Six Flags. Not only that, he gave you information about parks owned by ANOTHER company. I doubt you got creditable information there, obviously.

Ferrari World Discussion Thread
Inukaza replied to Captain Jack's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A -sustained- 1.6G launch that last for 4 seconds would be incredible. I'd take that over a more intense launch that last a lot less. -
I asked the PR department about cheeta chase and they assured me it would "remain untouched" in regards to the 2011 project. I just dumped my Primium passes for Disney annual passes. I feel this might have been a bad descion D:. I should go out and get a fun pass this next year :I (I miss my spell check on my computer, damn Ipod ;-; )

What is your favorite launch coaster?
Inukaza replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Way to think to the future. So far, Rockin roller coaster. It's really the only one I remember. Though I have been on hulk/TTD/Wicked twister/volcano I don't remember the experiance totally. so RNRC it is -
1997 Water World slide collapse
Inukaza replied to speedracer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The lifeguard did try to help, with the limitations they are allowed to do. They can't just tackle/wrestle them to the ground, they could be sued for THAT. I'm a lifeguard myself, granted I don't work at a waterpark, so I don't have much training in that matter. But I am certain that there wasn't much they could do other then to call security to intercept the group and kick them out. (I work at a pool though, one lacking a waterslide unfortunately.) -
Is it easy to work at Cedar Point at 14?
Inukaza replied to YoYodude88's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You can work at Cedar's Point at 14? EDIT Damnit, you can.....I'm so used to busch and disney to their 18 years old employment rules. What are you working at? Games? Either way, in my personal opinion, you shouldn't work at 14... -
Busch Gardens Montu Question
Inukaza replied to sixflagsgadvguy1000's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Kumba is prob the roughest out of the 3 major steel coasters, though it's not rough enough where it causes discomfort. Montu is smooth enough where it shouldn't be a problem And Sheikra is amazingly smooth. -
^HAHA MUST DO!!!!!! When I go back to the park next week to take more photos I'll be sure to do that. Granted It won't be professionally done, more like just me drawing arts and craft time. In regards to the cheetah chase/new ride name thing. I'm just gonna talk to my friends high up there in the park 8D.
