  1. It's ageist the rules, and would get you banned from this site. (As TPR rules state that you shouldn't break rules like that or hell would break loose) I think it's possible to fine a few more spots for photos, and once Busch announces the coaster, they might provide official updates. If the blueprints are true, then the coaster is going to go well in public view. If the skyride/monorail entrance is going to be the ride station, then it shouldn't be a problem to get photos from the top of the colonial house. Same thing if the new pathway is open, you just have to be patient.
  2. I got word that they skyride is NOW closed from a friend. They simply extended the closure date of the skyride from the original date of June 1st.
  3. Uhhh, Most of the ride ops would fear their jobs if they let out information like that. They arn't allowed to leak info that is not already open to the public. (meaning, press conference or from official source) Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. No, it's still open normal operations. You're right though, they did say it was suppose to be closed by now, but It hasn't. I"ll ask the official facebook person who works in guest relations. Since it's not a question about something the public shouldn't know about, I'll just ask publicly. ( Source for closure: http://buschgardens.com/Bgt/CP/Default.aspx?page=Attraction%20Closures )
  5. The shows are every night at 9. And I was disappointed with the effects, all it was were skytrackers. I attached a link of a Skytracker for those who don't know. These are the ONLY "special effects" for the rides. There's one for each ride
  6. MAJJOORRRR UPDATE Featuring the Australian Exhibit, Project 2011, and The new show(which is a MUST SEE). First, before I show photos, this is a 30 second clip of the new show, Kinetix . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X7mnPTOO4Y Anyway, they blocked off a good portion of land near the skyride and cut the trees down :O Fences next to katonga, not new but still No trees... Shot from over the fence (dad took the photo as he is tall) a LOT more fences, the Clydesdale is gone now. they are ripping it all up. A single Defined path.... I was afraid montu was cut off D: (it isnt, but montu has NO LINE though) They ran out of fence? Extends to egypt See, they are ripping it all up (you're looking at the Clydesdale area) Look from the skyride Loook of the new bridge They extended the pathway some more Though, a small portion in the middle of the pathway is missing Viewing area maybe? The track on rhino rally is totally gone now (from view) Excuse the blurry photo.... but walkabout way sign The areaaa Are they not finish yet? A kangaroo feeding experience, still not open. (while you can walk through it, it won't open til tomarrow, according to busch) THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING, I'm not going to give anything away, but it's a MUST SEE
  7. How did they tone it down again? I don't remember it being any different since it opened, aside from the water portion. It must have not made a huge difference in ride experience If I don't remember it. Also, I'm heading back to the park this weekend to check out construction and the new show Kenitix. (I'm not sure how it's spelled) I'm going in the afternoon, So I want to hope I can get some shots with the "new" lights and effect that Busch placed on the rides for the Summer nights thing.
  8. We managed to ride both, It was fun, I personally like the spinning.
  9. ^at the quote. Uhhh, I'm going to guess that the coaster companies test everything to make sure they would WORK before they sell their products. I highly doubt that they would just ASSUME something something would work, a lot of work goes into making these coasters. I would hope every single factor goes into designing these rides.
  10. I was there with my brother and a friend on 6/8. I remember the picture effect NOT being of your own Ride Car, but rather of a generic photo. I can justify this saying that 3/4 of the people in the car didn't show, and that the remaining people looked nothing like in the photo. (In the seat that a black male was sitting in, it showed a white female.)
  11. Hey everyone! This is my first real PTR, unlike my construction updates for BGT. My younger brother Tim, our friend Lexie, and myself decided to go on a wild adventure. We wanted to ride all the coasters in Disney World, we did say coasters, so we were on a "move and finish each park as fast we can" mode. So, armed with our passes with ParkHopper and my trusty disability pass, we started! (For those of you wondering about the disability pass, I have a metal rod in my ankle, can't want in lines, which is not a bad thing lmao) Anyyyywayyy. First thing we did was head to Epcot, we didn't really do anything, but I had to meet with a friend before we went anywhere. HollyWood Studios So right as we did that (only took a few minutes), We took the WDW Bus to Disney's Hollywood studios! Lexie wanted to try out for the American Idol, which I forgot to take pictures of. Anyway, they casting director was so impressed she recommended her to audition for the actually disney staff. She didn't get into American Idol Experience though, they were looking for "Pop" style voices, and she has more of a Broadway style. SOOOO this was Lexie's first time at this park, so the first thing we did since we were over in the american idol area was ride star tours. She told me it was a bit rough, but none of us really cared for it. So, after which we walked to ToT, which had a new drop sequence and effects/lighting for the Summer Nighttasmic. I must say, I REALLY like this new drop sequence. It has a lot of full tower drops and tons of air time. Love it <3. The Effects were amazing too. Lexie and my brother Tim loved it also. So then we took a trip to Rocking Roller Coaster, the first credit of the day. There's not much to say about the ride, it's quite lovely. haha. We rode it twice and moved on to the next park (Time spent in the park: 2.5 Hours, Credits so far: 1 out of 6) Animal Kingdom We arrived at this park around 1:00, and we immediately went to the Pizza Place by "Camp Minie-Mickey". The Line was MASSIVE. and the next showing of the Lion king (which I love, /furry). So we decided to hold off on food until after the show. For those of you who haven't seen "The Festival of the Lion King" it is a MUST SEE. This is one of Disney's best live musical shows IMO. It reminds me of a mini-La Nuba, which is a show in Downtown Disney. It amazes me every time. After the show we raced back to the pizza place to beat the crowd from the show, and what do you know, NO LINE!!! Sooooo, with our bellies full we made our way to Dinoland U.S.A.. We Chose to skip DINOSAUR due to the fact we all hate reallllllly loud noises. So, we hit up Primeval Whirl, which was our second Credit of the day. It's quite a crazy ride, a bit on the rough side. We headed to Everest, and too my amazement, the Fastpass Line was LONGER then the standby line. It's like everyone tried to cash in their fastpass at the same time. I should have gotten a picture so you could believe me. xD So in the meantime, I decided that I didn't want to wait with my ankle hurting and stuff. So we went to the Yeti and Yak store to get my mother her birthday present, a robe thing that she can wear 101 ways. I don't really remember what it is called. But, I can tell you when I showed her today, she loved it. We went back to Everest and we were welcomed with a MUCH shorter line. We rode to get our 3rd Credit, and left the park. On a side note, we thought that Disney's Bus service was awesome. Every time we wanted to get somewhere so far in the day there was always a bus waiting. Unfortunately, we were wrong, it took 20 minutes for the next bus to come to take us to the Ticket Center/Magic Kingdom. We wanted to get everything done by the time we are required to leave. (On parents orders) It did come eventually. (Time Spent at Park: 3 Hours, Credits so far 3/6) Ticket Center/Magic Kingdom We arrived at the ticket center around 4:00p, and boarded the correct Monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom. As we got to the park, we felt required to take pictures of things everyone has. We first went to Tomorrow Land, and we rode Buzz Light Year. The ride eStoped for about 20 minutes, which we didn't mind. The left the spinning and the score things running. Guess who has new High score for the month on the ride. Tim does! I ended with a Grand Total of 300 and Lexie a 0, only because we were having fun spinning. Then we rode Space mountain, Lexie's FAVORITE ride. It's still very rough in my thoughts. We then entered toon town and rode Barnstormer, which is a coaster, and a credit. I'm sure we looked retarded screaming on the top of our lungs on a ride like that. haha. We decided to eat in Tomorrowland's Quick-Service Restaurant. I had a Burger with cheese fries It was getting late around now so we wanted to finish our quest. We had one more credit to ride and we wanted it now. So we went straight to Thunder Mountain, which preceded to again, estop while we were on the last chain lift. yay. At least there was Air Conditioning. After that ride, when we celebrated riding every coaster in Disney world, My mother called extending our curfew (I love you mom!) So we rode Snow white, Winnie the Pooh, the Race car ride in Tomorrowland, and space mountain again. Afterwards it was getting late and we took the monorail back to the Ticket Station, where my mother picked us up. (around 10:30). While Tim slept in the car, Lexie and I decided that we can't let the magic die, so we watched Lion King 2 on my iPod Touch. (Time Spent at park: 4.5 Hours, Credits Overall 6/6) Enough off my lonng text review. Time for some pictures, I only have half of them. Lexie decided not to give them to me for this update, due to her being paranoid about people taking her shots, which were pretty remarkable. Ohwellz. And we did ride all the coasters at WDW is you didn't read it all lol. ENJOY! Lexie and I on the disney bus heading to our first park, Hollywood Studios I still want to call it MGM for some reason First ride, TOT with it's new drop sequence Crazy Antics From Lexie and my brother Tim (In the teal shirt)) Crap photo of our ToT shot, It was really blurry . So yea Lexie and I are in the top right side, the only ones with our hands up. (you can't see tim ;-; ) Myself In front of Rocking Roller Coaster Tim Is ready to ride We both holded our for the front row, so Tim already went before us. Entrance to Animal kingdom, from the bus Tim EVEREST Photo Opt Lexie waiting for bus, you see her uber serious look Ticket center Monorail MAGIC KINGDOOOMM First thing we did, TOMORROWLAND If only this dance party consisted of ACTUALLY music instead of Hannah Montanna SPACE MOUNTAIN, lexie's favorite ride Nother blurry photo opt We did say every coaster 8D BARNSTORMER Track Birdies on the way to thunder mountian We are here Station Heading back to tomorrowland, because lexie wanted to ride space mountain again. I snapped this shot of the castle from the back side Theme Park Humor Time! UTIDOORS: THE RIDE At space Mountain again Nerd Shot We were getting creative by now, lexie trying to strangle me....and tim sleeping Shot of tomorrow land on the way out, leaving before the parade started Back at the ticket center waiting for parents! Not wanting the magic to die, we watched Lion King 2 on the way home
  12. I believe it's a new coaster. New stats, Pretty much all track replaced, new trains, new supports in some sections, taller, faster. Uhhhh, It would be a HUGE misunderstanding if you call it a rehab. I would more-or-less call it as an Attraction Replacement. ;D
  13. Howl-O-Scream Sorta let out some details. Well, they are selling tickets The subline is "howl-o-scream is gonna rock" So I'm assume it might be about a rock concert gone evil lol. Who knows. Can't wait http://www.howloscream.com/tampa/ http://www.howloscream.com/tampa/
  14. ^ the problem would be how they would respond not only long term, but short term. Introducing something new to an environment that they have lived in for awhile. I'm just rambling on, but I have a huge concern on the short term (not only the long term) of the health and happiness of the animals. I may not know much, but care is genuine.
  15. I see the new pathway is there :E wait, I see a new lion exibit....and a lake? Isen't there suppose to be a new coaster? it looks like from the map they are just extending EOA. That coaster better be damn quiet.
  16. ^ Same, I live literally within walking distance from the park. I just need to make time to go over there. I too, want to see this new experience.
  17. WALK ABOUT WAY ANNOUNCED FOR BUSCH GARDENS. Don't know if it was already done.. ohwell I hope they acquire a wolf/dingo/fox
  18. I have a feeling they might want to get all the equipment in before they start the coaster construction. I wonder if it's going to be a problem getting track in when the train is running, plus, would it break the new train tracks? I'm not sure how this is going to work.
  19. Update, I went back today, though I forgot my camera. Their are the train track signs and such that are used when people cross over them. Errrrrr.....Rail Road crossing signs and such..... So I have reason to expect the walkway starting to take shape soon. Going to adventure island tomarrow, Busch Gardens is nice and all, but not when it's 98 degrees. >.>
  20. I'm going back to busch gardens tomorrow, but this time to ride the rides. So I'm going to avoid bring my camera. The week after I think I'm going to Disney. Who knows, but I can say I will be making regular tips to BGT. Not on a schedule, just when ever theirs a car available. lol
  21. Here's a pretty big update of BGA in general, though it's mostly of construction. Montu was closed while I was at the park, and Kumba is down for the cleaning. And since I had my tote bag to hold my camera and things In, I was not able to ride any rides anyway. I was not about to buy a self storage container. when I need my things on me at all times. On gwazi they have baskets to put your things in while you ride, as do most of the rides. Well, they won't even allow the things in the line anymore. I understand why though, but spending time at disney where they tell you to put your bookbags between your legs on Rockin Roller coaster is a tad big of a change. Oh disney, what would we do without you, setting the standards for public safety /sarcasm. Okayyyy, enough talking, time for photos. Montu in the distance, closed, with the train stuck on the lift. This is my happy face. lol My blurry platinum card, which lets me come when ever I want lol. Bulldozer sighting and I haven't even gotten inside the park yet. Right by where the Katonga building is, workers are setting up another wall. View of the train tracks through the edge of africa, trees and song covering it and all. I wish I had any clue as to what this is behind the skyride, looks like a big drill. Some ground construction photo's first, I wanted to use the skyride station in Congo to do lack of lines at that station. :3 The bridge they are working on, theirs a better view from the skyride that I will show once I get there. Keep reading Random pipes beside rhino rally Kumba is super shiny, with the sun on it it can blind you, no kidding. Super shiny kumba from skyride, Rhino rally's dried up tracks. LETS GET BACK TO OVERHEAD CONSTRUCTION PHOTOS. Lot of things going on. Ahhhhh, so it IS a drill.....i think. Better look at the bridge Random pipes and such Behind the skyride station THANKS FOR LOOKING AT THIS UPDATE.
  22. Not necessarily. If I305 had trims I could see it being that it would be because not of bad design. Rather because of the fact they wanted to be very big, and the result of that is a ride that's a little too fast. I could see them having trims in the original ride to make it more comfortable in general. Trims are not meant to ruin your ride experience, but rather to keep you and the ride safe so more can ride in the future. Trims don't mean the ride was a bad design, It could be part of the original design too.
  23. I'm going to busch gardens tomorrow. Is their anything you desire to be in the photo update? I'm not planing to ride any rides while bring my semi-expensive camera, So I bet I will have a while to spend. Just tell me what you want photos of and I shall provide. Yay for platinum passports! But yea, I will do an update on the 2011 Constitution, no doubt about that. Just want to know what else anyone wants to see.
  24. I'm hoping to go down today and take some photos. Not sure if I'll be able too though. I'm working it out with my parents so I can take the car.
  25. Naw, if they were going to create a new area, it would be behind kumba or something where their actually is room. The article says a new exibit, not a new area. I don't think busch would do so many things at once, haha. I think a new area is out of the question for now. the name could be for the new exibit though. (for the heck of it, here's the area behind kumba I am talking about. [spoil][/spoil]
