  1. I had gotten a IAPPA flyer in the mail previously, but couldn't make it out there. Shame on me, I totally need to get my furry tushe out there next year. Thanks for all the updates. Also, can't wait too see what WhiteWater is upto.
  2. New for 2019: Park-wide transformation to Potter, park renamed "Potterworld". Movie news: Potter diamond edition released, Sorcerer's Stone 3D addition. Disney unhappy, says "Awwwww they copied us".
  3. Busch Gardens Tampa gave us a video featuring a awesome pile of dirt.
  4. I guess I'll have to go back to experience it again. I thought it might have been my timing, it's just unfortunate. Oh well, I'll be able to do nevermore this time. ( I had to skip it last time I went.). Yay, another excuse to go back!
  5. My Review. Just want to give my 2c on the Roaming Hordes, first. I'm a bit disinterested and unimpressed with the whole, "You won't have a minutes rest with the entire park zombiefied." thing that was suppose to happen. Sure, there were groups of people roaming, however, they were rare. It could have been my timing of walking around, but I only encountered two hordes my entire time. It was great, however, for instance, walking from Sheikra to Gwazi was a dark, boring, walk with nothing but traffic noises to scare you from the adjacent road. Personally, I'd like for Busch to return to the permanent scare zones with a fewer roaming hordes. However, as a whole event, it was money worth spent. I can't wait for next year! All the houses were amazing, and the two hordes I did encounter were awesome as well.
  6. I should be buying my tickets tonight. My dad is trying to edge out of it by trying to say we don't have money. He succeed. He doesn't expect me to pay for his ticket too. :I This. Is. A. Must. Do. How many ticket slots are available?
  7. Opps. Been around my family too long. "Hey mother, what's the name of that restaurant again?" :<
  8. O Canada at Epcot tops Le chef's anyday. I've been to a few of those other ones too. I personally don't agree with that ranking. Though, always good to read on the insights of others.
  9. Would love to read it, but I have to look into if my Nook can read Kindle's Format. Edit: Oh, what do you know, barns and noble has a nook version.
  10. Awesome report, I think I might check this out. I never noticed that the entrance to the Great Movie Ride was hallow like that, it was quite a surprise. I also loved the behind the scenes of Fantasmic. Thanks so much for the report. By the way, this is actually the Coronado Springs. Not the all stars.
  11. What if Busch brought back Sylvie X as a somehow even hotter zombie chick.
  12. You know that one park bench on the south side of the park? When and where was it made? I've always wondered. Oh the woes.
  13. I. Must. Bitchslap this member in which I disagree with. Just because kids can ride does not make it a childish ride. You can't compare Air Grover (Sesame Street) with Cheetah Hunt. That's too far of a stretch.
  14. Well... I don't know how the other ones feel, however, I will say that when we hit airtime, my shoulders slammed into the shoulder straps and they hurt quite a bit. I'll be honest, while it's noticeably foam after inspecting it, it's a very HARD and Stern foam. I would have traded the heart line loop for lap bars. Still a great coaster, though.
  15. Just got back form the contest event. I was able to ride Cheetah Hunt three times! I do have to say, the ride is amazing. I don't see how people complained about the speed at the top of the tower, it was actually a pretty good part of the ride it's self and was still going though pretty fast. On our second ride, we actually experienced a roll back on the third launch. Every time, the ride was hauling ass though the canyon runs. Our third ride....whoa....It's actually like the MCBR didn't brake us at all. The surf curves at that speed...just amazing. Night rides are awesome, however, there's literally no lights at all after we get over the skyride and the MCBR. (Aside from where the third launch is). It just makes it even more awesome. I'd venture to say it's my favorite ride in the park. It's a VERY FUN ride, and while at times not 100% thrilling. It's still amazing. One bad thing about the event, which just had me a little sad, is that the "ERT" Included lines of 90 minutes at time. Granted, it slumped down to 25 minutes around 11:00pm, however the ride was shut down for 10 minutes due to someone puking. Time to bring out the pressure hose. tl;dr. The ride was amazing, it was actually quite fast. Airtime machine, launches were VERY forceful and effective. The tower element is actually a cool element. This is actually a top 10 coaster for me, (maybe 10). But, I've only ridden around 50 coasters. And, It turns out the name didn't effect the speed of the ride at all! 9/10 EDIT: I want to add that the launches sound like a cheetah roaring or whatever. xD
  16. I'm heading out to the Contest Winners event at Busch now! I'll try to get some photos!
  17. To be honest, I'd rather they take a few days to get it up and running and research a permanent solution in case it ever happens again. Even though I have the contest even tonight, if CH isn't open, they did promise in the letter they sent out that there would be gwazi and montu ERT as well......So.....Win-win for myself. Good luck to the park, hopefully they can get it open so guest don't start flipping cop cars in the parking lot.
  18. About 3 hours for TTD the first summer it opened. Ride breaking down, people having heat strokes in line which resulted in the ride being shut down for awhile. More and more.
  19. Keep in mind, Shatter-proof is not Scratch-proof. Another thing, anything-proof is not very "proof". Let me also say only they Lenses are advertised as Shatterproof, not the frame. The Frame will probably be in bad shape. I'll be quite honest. I doubt you're going to get your glasses back. Or in any wearable contention. :/
  20. I lost a pair of glasses at Busch Gardens Tampa on Gwazi. Did the same, as filling out a form goes. Still never saw it again.
  21. I'm so excited to ride. Can't wait til Friday! It does look abnormally long. That 3rd launch with the airtime hill after leads me with some questions. How exactingly did that feel, Andrew. You said it messed with your head, right?
  22. ^This photo looks so amazing to me. I love Busch's Landscaping. Thanks for taking that photo!
  23. Hard to believe it's been almost 6 years since python was closed. Damn. Anyway, I'll be hopefully taking photos and videos of the contest winner's event after park closes.
