  1. I feel really lousy about saying this... but... *whispers* I'm starting to not miss Big, Bad Wolf at all.
  2. This is sweet; the world needs more seaside amusement piers. And dark rides.
  3. Man, this report made me miss Alton a ton. Been so many years... And yeah, a haunt in a real castle? Do not have; want.
  4. Word. This is all very, very appetizing.
  5. Thanks for the reply about the Loop Coaster. Bummer, too, because it looks like the company that made that ride is making the new 11-inversion coaster for Jinling Happy World... http://www.rcdb.com/4278.htm?p=29897
  6. On the grand scale of things, this isn't really all that important; things change; life goes on... They are still two very awesome B&M inverts, with super-awesome trains, and at least both trains will be moving along at the same time, sort of... But still: Dammit. Dammit all to hell.
  7. Wait, why not Goliath? It qualifies as a hyper-coaster (I ask as someone who LOVES Goliath... ) But, yeah, this is one more reason among many I'm looking forward to visiting this park some day. Walt and C-dog are KILLING it next year!
  8. Another great looking Euro park I'm dying to visit someday. Raptor looks totally badass. And the dark ride with the "underwater" sequence?" Fills me with dangerous levels of want.
  9. This park looks more and more awesome every time I see one of these trip reports. And "The Nest?" Brilliant idea for a maze! I love that!
  10. Awesome shots of the Freedom Tower and the memorial. Agreed that they did a beautiful job with the tower footprints. That will definitely be a stop next time I'm in NYC. And thanks also for the hardcore pizza porn. Yikes.
  11. That is pretty seriously awesome, up to and including the ride op taking a drag off his cigarette as the car returns to the station. I love the Chinese so much.
  12. I love the laid-back-ness of this kind of park. Wish we had more like it in the States. Very cool share, and kudos on the Simpsons reference.
  13. Lego dragon in The Dragon just closed the deal. Must visit this park.
  14. Thanks so much for sharing these very rare looks at these Asian parks. So freaking cool. How did that loop coaster ride?
  15. This is what happens to my mind when it gets slow at work:
  16. ^"Desmondcats, HO!" ^^^ Let me be clear... that is sweet.
  17. The kids look so adorable, but seriously, ENERGY DOME FTW!!!
  18. Wow. That is some incredible presentation. I dig the 50s-themed area, Mysterious Island and you have to love the Gary Goddard-created Captain Power inclusion. Sure, some of this is not quite as unique as AeroWorld would have been, but still, the scope is impressive. This thread is PIMP.
  19. None taken, sir. You did indeed dominate that "Where In The World..." thread, and if I recall correctly, my "Prince" Desmond effort received 1 vote in the final tally. And I keep telling my mom to knock off that crap; her pity means nothing to me. (I still love the "Somali Pirates.") EDIT: Speaking of short-term memory issues, this may also be an "homage" to someone else's earlier efforts; and it's less a costume than it is some sort of unholy crime against nature, but whatever... "Prince Mujabubukins."
  20. That Cars Land rockwork is truly about as sexy and come-hither as rockwork gets. I still haven't seen the two movies, but I am so ready for RSR. Also, Ghost Galaxy RULES. Not un-scary! Neat new soundtrack! Recommended!
  21. He should go as a ballerina. So he'll be wearing Desmond's tutu. *RIMSHOT* (Full disclosure: I am recycling this joke from the old "Where In The World Is..." thread. Sue me.)
  22. I just finished eating lunch while looking at this report... AND NOW I'M ALL HUNGRY AGAIN. DAMN YOU! The Food and Wine Festival has just jumped up above "Special Nighttime Fun with Diane Lane and Marisa Tomei" on my bucket list (mainly because it's a bit more likely to happen).
  23. This is why I'm loving the whole "drop track" trend: encourages the parks to add at least a bit of dark ride. SWEET!!! Coaster, good. Coaster fortified with extra dark ride, WAY BETTER.
  24. My feelings of raging, sputtering mega-jealousy are tempered by the happy glow of knowing that Black Diamond is finally open. Looks great, sounds even better. Can't wait to get back and try it out. And those pitch black shots of the Phoenix... oh, baby... Awesome report!
