I would be OK with the multi-looper being an Intamin OR Mack product. -

In all honesty, I COMPLETELY forgot about Laff Trakk. Good to hear they're making progress. -

^This still holds true. I can't speak for the SWSA AND SWO markets however here in So Cali I haven't seen any aggressive marketing coming from SWSD. I've seen a couple billboards off of the 5 Freeway but that's it. -

The Control Panel Enthusiast Thread
DJeXeL replied to Montu Maniac's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
HMI (Human-Machine Interface) button on the B&M panels replaced the "Panelview Enable" button. It has been a while since I operated Silver Bullet at Knott's and the only thing Operations (Non-Maintenance personnel) used it for was during power up procedures. In maintenance mode, checking the state of sensors, photo eyes, light curtains (Floorless coasters), opening/closing brakes, you have to use 2 hands for redundancy. Edit: Scott is correct on this as well. -
Dude! I don't know about you, but when my diamond encrusted Jordans got too small, they hurt! And I was always having to take them back to the Footlocker/jewler to have them be refitted and cleaned. Makes me wish I never bought them. Same goes for that damn Victorias Secret diamond Bra! Nothing but complaints from the wife. Blah, blah, blah, my tits are bleeding! God! It never ends! Being raised with a silver spoon in my mouth has been such a crutch! And don't even get me started on the silver spoon in my mouth! Jesus Christ! You never disappoint.

^Agreed. Cedar Fair parks have clean, well maintained bathrooms, SF decided to go with the filthy, not-so well maintained approach. Dare to be different!! -
NEWS: Cowabunga Bay coming to Las Vegas!
DJeXeL replied to jedimaster1227's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here’s the story on the re-design and delay of this ride: We purchased this slide from Polin back in 2012. In Polin’s haste they displayed a model of the ride at the IAAPA convention boasting it would open at Cowabunga Bay in 2013. When Proslide got wind of it they slapped a lawsuit against Polin due to patent infringements because it was similar to Proslide’s Tornado. When we got wind of the pending lawsuit we asked Polin to redesign the ride to differentiate it from Proslides Tornado otherwise we would have to back out of the purchase. Polin then did a major re-do on the design which now results in the more “half-pipe” design rather than the Tornado-esque look. The redesign and re-engineering took several months which caused delays in the fabrication. By the time it was all worked out there was no time to get the ride open for the 2014 season, so we held off. I am quite happy with the re-design and actually like it more than the original design. Sometimes things work out for the best. Thank you for the insight! Hopefully I can make it out to CB in July. -
Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

Paula, My apologies if this has already been discussed but is HW going to be auctioning seats for first rides or anything of that sort for Thunderbird?
