  1. Definitely was installed in a unique location....
  2. A dark ride would be a great addition. Perhaps it's in their 5 year plan....Dive Coaster in '16 and Dark Ride in '18?
  3. Just wishful thinking... Am I the only one who thinks this sounds too fast? Even if that's the speed it'll hit before climbing to the brakes (as I think hitting the brakes at 55 mph is definitely not the case) that's still quite a lot! A lot of coasters hit the brakes faster than that...... Dragster and Kingda Ka are prime examples.
  4. Would be nice if they complete the circuit today!
  5. ^Agreed on the surprise element. I'm waaaaaaay more excited for this than Fury:325.
  6. I seem to vaguely remember that when FT opened, the 2nd train parked at station approach instead of the Main brake/transfer. Maybe I'm mistaken....
  7. It's a little cramped but manageable.
  8. ^The parks design the station and queue lines.
  9. Well when the circuit only consists of Lift-Drop-Turn-Brakes, stacking is a given.
  10. What is there to pay attention to?
  11. Waffle House is what Denny's wishes it could be!
  12. Seems like a bit of an oversight when the ride was purchased/installed.
  13. Yes, as restraint release devices, electrical contacts, etc.... need the train to be parked in an exact position. Xcelerator's PLC for example, monitors train position down to the millimeter! If the train is not parked right in the station, the PLC will inhibit dispatching the train.
  14. Please share how you came to this conclusion.
  15. Just so I'm clear..........There's a Tatsu documentary out there?
  16. ^I never operated El Toro but I'll chime in here since I operated Perilous Plunge @ KBF which had the same monitoring system that El Toro has. I do agree that it was annoying that the restraint monitoring system wouldn't tell you what row was not clear however the operators can tell which seat might be questionable just by looking at the size of the guest that's in the seat. Hate to say it like that but it's true. Once the restraint system registers all seats are clear the operators will have to "acknowledge" this by pushing a button in order to dispatch the train.
  17. I love the cable lift design of Intamin coasters. Trains at I:305 are on the lift for all of 16 seconds. Most efficient coaster I would say is California Screamin. Yes I know that Space Mountain and the Matterhorn run more vehicles however Screamin's throughput is higher.
