  1. November... is that right? That's almost a year!
  2. That seems like the perfect solution. (Hopefully to get smaller)
  3. I'm so used to the old ones it would be hard for me to switch... but the option of having both sizes seems very good...
  4. They could juggle a lot at once, group juggle, and more. I don't remember the details because it was a while ago.
  5. At my summer camp we saw these proffesional jugglers... they could juggle lots of stuff at once and juggle fiery stuff and all that. It was cool.
  6. I remember collecting pokemon cards! I think it was back in second and third grade. When they added more and more it got stupid. I remember just when I started getting a lot they became uncool. Those were the days... Also, I've got some baseball cards that I just kind of collect if I gt them, don't make an effort to buy.
  7. Wow... that's more than I thought. Curious, what was the reserve on the other coasters?
  8. We should have a bunch of people pool their money together and buy it!
  9. Free SLC, I would charge people to ride it and get rich. Would you rather save Texas Cyclone or Greezed Lightning?
  10. When I was 5 I was obssesed, not much these days, I had a VERY bad experience on Amtrak once. Do you want a cookie?
  11. I've heard from numerous SFAW demolition workers that it's heading to SFA. Not many people up in MD would be able to confirm that, however, because not many people up on the coaster site live in the Largo area around DC.
  12. Homer (Drunk): "Hey Marge, guess how many boobs I say today? 15!" (Passes Out)
  13. ^ Made this topics 1000th post < Killed Kenny \/ Is afraid of Mr. Six
  14. Saw this on an Astroworld fansite: http://www.poststar.com/story.asp?storyid=205750 Looks like they might not be going up anytime soon.
  15. --Your 2005 year in review: Went to HP in April, Went to SFA for my birthday, then went an "amusement park day camp" which was all trips to SFA, PKD, and BGW. Went to another day camp with SFA and PKD, visited Dorney Park. --Your first coaster of the year: Sidewinder at Hersheypark. My first boomerang, actually didn't suck. --Your last coaster of the year: S:ROS at SFA after it had just finished raining. --Best new steel to me: Volcano was great, I had been to PKD before, but hadn't gotten a chance to ride it. --Best new wood to me: Thunderhawk. Great airtime, a bit rough though. --Best new flat ride to me: Tough one... I really liked Tomb Raider at PKD though, but my manlihood didn't. --Best new water ride to me: SFA's Typhoon SeaCoaster was really fun, only got to ride it once though. --Best new dark ride/walk through to me: Didn't ride any, actually, don't like them much. --Best new water park attraction to me: I liked SFA's Tornado a lot, it suprised me very much. --Best new park to me: Hershey Park was beautiful, and had great rides. --Best park "moment" of the year: Riding S:ROS 7 times with no lines, after waiting 30 mins for Tornado, only leaving to ride Batwing as a walk-on. --Best overall park "trip" of the year: Going to "Amusement Park Camp" and going to all of these parks, every day. --Worst new attraction (any kind) to me of the year: Sockwave was pretty bad, it killed my ears. --Best event at a park: Taking my friend to SFA for my B-day, his too, incedentally. --Best non-event day at a park: My trip to SFA with my family was spectacular. --Best non-park related moment of the year: Going to the beach in North Carolina. --Favorite TPR post/thread of the year: Rides on the Moon --Best Amusement related news of the year: SF management change --Worst Amusement related news of the year: SFAW and Williams Grove closing --Ride that I had to rethink my opinion of in 2005: Roar. Was very rough this year, and Alpengeist, I only rode it once before and faintly remembered it. --Hopes for 2006: That I get to use my SF pass a lot.

  17. King for a Day- Green Day
  18. That was crazy. 4th and 5... Vince Young runs it in. Don't call me a bandwaggoner, I lived in Austin.
  19. Nope, USC just got a TD. Damn.
  20. Exactly why zoo parks never seemed that great. While theme parks are good at giving what they have for cheap. when, like Animal Kingdom, they combine to only focus partially on the theme park, it makes it more worth it to visit a different park and just go to a zoo. People may say that the experience makes it worth it, and if your that dedicated thats fine, but I don't think all the extra money spent for a few rides is worth it. But tell that to the people who pay 13 bucks to ride Manhattan Express. Besides, I've got the National Zoo, which has free admission.
  21. Yes, Go Longhorns! Do you like basketball?
  22. What's your favorite college mascot?
  23. Texas just fumbled their punt return, and USC recovered. This sucks! Go Longhorns!
