PKD's Flight Of Fear Being Removed?

I know on the PKD survey last offseason there was a question asking guests what they thought of a FoF retheme, along with IJ and other options. -
PKD's Flight Of Fear Being Removed?
momo1tx replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That would seriously suck, as I only got the chance to ride it once, and I enjoyed it. Of course, it makes sense with IJTC coming and SFA having their own outdoor version. -
9.023, I'm awful at speed-typing.

^ Go to a different one! Occasionally there are bad dentists, like one I had who said my last baby tooth was "stuck" in my mouth and wouldn't fall out unless he pulled it, and then it fell out weeks later.

Do you scream on roller coasters?
momo1tx replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I usually only scream on rides I'm actually scared on, namely hypercoasters, Vekomas, and craapy wood coasters. -
That looks like an annoying crash, I've only seen the wreckage of 3 big crashes: 1. In Ohio, a car flipped upside-down, teetering on the edge of a bridge, looking like it would fall off. It was a fatal accident, and a few weeks later, I still saw the dent in the guardrail. 2. Saw a truck flipped on its side randomly when coming from PKD. Don't know anything about this one. 3. Oh crap, this one pissed me off. All of I-95 southbound was shut down. What happened was a 3-truck accident, that caused a haz-mat leak, so they had to repave the whole highway, which took a whole day. Traffic moved litterally zero on the highway or on the side road, so to get to PKD our bus driver took one-lane country roads. Driving back on the other side seeing the accident's wreckage was disturbing.

Steel Poll Results are in
momo1tx replied to ParkTrips's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not quite as good as listed, I've been on what I thought was better, but I still think the ride is very good, despite an uninspired layout. -
I believe they were all scrapped, except maybe one was sent to another park. Also, I'm going to be out in Maryland on Sunday, I'll see if I get an opportunity to get a picture of a truck coming by or something, if I'm lucky. EDIT: Looking at the SFA site, it mentions something about "The Avalanche"... looks like Alpine Bobs finally got renamed.

Most them are people on this board... just a bunch of their "coaster" friends they hang out with at parks, I'm pretty sure.

For the last few months, I've been asking this question in my mind: Is Williams Grove actually dead? I'm very confused. I mean, looking at their website, it still says "for 2005" on the banner, but the site is listed with a 2006 copyright at the bottom. It was also updated previously to say 'Happy Holidays", and gives no mention of closing. I've heard nothing of rides for sale, except that one post, and there was no source to draw it from. So far, Williams Grove does not appear to be dead. Does anyone have a clue what's really going on?

Depends if Robb's there. Eat a donut or a cookie?

Wow, that's sad. Another reason why I'll never drink and drive.

Yes Did you catch the spelling error in SonOfBeastSucks' location information?

I think a mass movement against this is needed. It is one of the dumbest rules ever implemented, and is a foolish way to reap money from visitors. This is unheard of in the industry, and is clearly being used as an oppurtunity to take advantage of guests. There is no reason for this cheap attempt to get money off of guests, and I can safely say I wouldn't have gotten my pass if this rule had been announced earlier.

Yay! My school had a very early dismissal today for teacher meetings!

I honestly think it's pretty pathetic that a topic about Elissa burning her mouth has gone on for four pages.
