Find water fountains. I know at most Six Flags parks they ARE THERE, but are a struggle to find. I usually find them near bathrooms tucked away in the woods

Wow! That's really exciting. Glad Winnipeg got their team back, as it is clear that this is a city that cares deeply about hockey. As for the current NHL playoffs... I'm gonna go get the dust pan for this sweep ! In all seriousness, I hope the Bruins can pull it together at home so that this series doesn't end in a sweep.

In my top 10 I have Nitro at 4 and AC at 5, so if that shows anything, it is that these are two very similar rides. The only reason that I gave Nitro the edge is because I think night rides on Nitro are INCREDIBLE, and it is a bit longer and in my opinion more intense. Both are exceptional rides though!

This park was awesome just like all your previous parks! Can't wait to see whatever project you share with us next!!!

That looks really cool after the second lift! I can't wait to see when they actually open this coaster, as I'm sure it will be a hit.

I went to the park today, and it was a wonderful day to go! Crowds were minimal, and the weather was great for the most part, although a bit cloudy and windy later on in the afternoon. I agree. Carolina has a wonderful exciting fan base, as whenever I go see a Hurricanes game most of the seats are filled, and the place gets pretty loud for a place where hockey is not that popular of a sport. I think that the Canes have just as much longevity as many of the other big name teams in the league.

I think that the mountain could use some "serious" flats before planning any more roller coaster editions. Of course, this has been said for many of the past seasons. Now that they have 18 coasters I think they should think about family flats that are also thrilling like S&S Screamin' swing or even a Disk-o.

Sorry to double post, but it appears that the Atlanta Thrashers are rumored to be a part of a deal in the works with a group up in Winnipeg!

That building in the last photos looks IMMENSE. Also, that Vekoma halfpipe/big air ride looks bizarre but cool! Nice trip report!

I agree with Canucks in 5. That team has so much more talent than Boston's in almost every department, especially offense. If they can keep Horton at bay they shouldn't have too much trouble winning the cup.

Great photos! I think this park looks awesome despite the lack of shade. I love the launched coaster, and all of the huge rock theming. I can't wait to see this park fully operational!

^^ I was just talking with a co-worker of mine today about how her family was not going to a Harry Potter theme park, but merely a themed section of an existing park. This sparked some confusion, but I think the way that Universal advertises it also adds to the confusion.

Cool looking ride! I like the fake fire, but I still don't like the wings on the train. That being said, I'd rather it themed and goofy than not themed and...well... six flags-esque. I like this new direction they appear to be taking.

Woah! That POV is awesome, and this ride is a lot longer than I expected it to be! The whole ride is so unique and cool, and I love the section where Rhino Rally's water section used to be! I cannot wait to see this open to the public!

^ It still has crazy air in the back row! As for the new tracking, I was there sunday and It was noticeably less rickety in the areas where they had the RMC topper track in place. The jackhammering was minimized in this section. It rode pretty well, but the second half still sucks.

WOW! This ride looks amazing! The colors are so vibrant, and it really stands out in that section of the park. I love the entrance and the banners and all the landscaping around this ride, but the hill over the skyride is downright awesome looking!
