  1. Swamp Thing at Cypress Gardens last week. Hey, I needed the credit.
  2. IOA: Please do away with the lap bars on Dudley Do-Right. Please!!!
  3. I think that sums it up well. I think National Treasure falls along the same lines as the first Mummy movie, it won't win any Oscars, but it's a movie you can just go to to have a good time. ...and I also agree that it would make for a cool ride.
  4. A Festivus for the rest of us!!!
  5. Popeye's and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges and Me-Ship, The Olive will be closed for refurbishment from January 6th through February 2nd. ...and Jaws will be closing for a while, but not till the end of January. (Jan. 28th-Feb.8th)
  6. Very cool, thanks for sharing the old magazine ads. It really brings back good memories. I can't help but think of Great Adventure and Kings Dominion from the early 80's when viewing these pics.
  7. National Treasure-Book of Secrets I enjoyed the movie for what it is, a fun adventure film. I admit it will never win any Oscars and it does have some holes in the plot, but I'm not the kind of person that goes into a movie trying to pick it apart. I go to enjoy myself, and the movie for the most part delivers on that. 8.5/10
  8. ^^I guess it depends on what your definition of "buzz" is. It's been all over TV since Thanksgiving, that includes the TV guide channel, Disney channel, and the trailers on every other channel. As for the performance of the movie, I won't make any predictions, but I can tell you that the theatres down here were packed today. ...even more than 'I am Legend' last week. I couldn't believe how many seniors went to see it today, but it is Florida after all.
  9. A movie ticket to National Treasure a few hours ago. $6.50
  10. God help us if they ever put in a High School Musical ride. I'll take a Indy or National Treasure ride for WDW/MGM, thank you.
  11. I don't have any info right now, but I'll keep an eye and ear out for you.
  12. ^ ^You beat me to it. I really don't see any begging here, just a theme park fan hoping for a ride themed to something they're involved in. Who wouldn't? ...and I wouldn't call Mr. Cage a B-list actor, maybe A-, but definitely not B.
  13. ^No problem, sorry to hear that your friend had to turn down the possible job offer. ...but I guess having a baby is good news anyway.
  14. ^Very true. While I think Borg has a more interesting layout than Superman, I really hate laying on my back for ten minutes every time I ride it. ...so let's hope that's not the case with this new one.
  15. ^If you're asking if the trains will be floorless, the answer is no they're not. It'll be a standard sitdown coaster like Kumba or the Hulk.
  16. ...nothing wrong with that. I really enjoyed the first movie, and look forward to the 'Book of Secrets' coming out this week.
  17. Great job with the video, Erik. ...and a D- about sums it up for the decorations.
  18. Possible spoilers ahead: Dark Horizons Reports yesterday of there being small raptor-like monsters appearing in the big J.J. Abrams-produced monster movie opening in January are correct it seems. Two agency sources today have sent along the following confirmed MAJOR SPOILER tidbits from the highly anticipated release: - All the monsters are carnivores and eat people throughout. - The smaller monsters grow from scales shed by the big monster. - There is no back story as such like for "Godzilla" or "The Host", the big one simply emerges and the present script draft has it ultimately vanishing back into the sea. - Also don't expect much in the way of survivors at the end, literally anyone can be killed at any time, including the leads. 19. ^Very true, I'm sure there are many more players that weren't mentioned using HGH.
  20. Great TR and awesome pics, thanks. ...and nothing beats the Florida parks during the off-season.
  21. I know early December is slow, but it's still sad when you drive by and the Publix across the street has more cars in its parking lot than Cypress does.
  22. Thanks for the info. I e-mailed my friend from Jersey about it earlier, so let's hope he takes me as a guest when I visit up there in June.
  23. It was around 80 degrees yesterday. People were Christmas shopping in shorts.
  24. ^I agree with your review, though I would give it a little better grade. 8.5/10
