No, they haven't touched the coaster since the park was closed. -

Looks really good and professional, great job everyone. ...I really do love that logo. -

Yea, they spent the last couple of years on that. ...Though it's not all of US-27. It's still standing, along with the other woodie. Also, it seems some of the rides will remain, now which ones only Merlin knows at this time. -

^I'm pretty sure the Okeechobee Rampage is still there, and I know for a fact that the Swamp Thing is still standing. ...Along with the two woodies. At this point, I really don't pay much attention driving by the park each day to and from work. -
Club TPR Membership Card - VOTING!!!

Wow, that actually never crossed my mind about the Donkey. ...Very unfortunate. As for the membership cards, I really like n7's layout and Jds03's logo. -
The only park I've been to so far this year has been Disney's Animal Kingdom, which happened to be today. It was just too cold to go last week. ...Next week I'm heading to BGT. _____________________________________ Updated: 3/26 BGT-2x IOA-2x USF-2x DAK Magic Kingdom Next up: Lowry Zoo on Tuesday, followed by EPCOT on 4/13, and IOA/USF on 4/20.

^^Trust me, no offense taken. I live on the outskirts anyway. Actually, I live closer to Lake Wales (near route 27) than downtown Winter Haven. As for Cypress Gardens, I think their best bet is to just keep the gardens, ski show, and water park. ...The rest is just a waste in my opinion. -

^Be sure to take pictures of the Iron Man suit when he finishes it. I have a feeling that one will be really cool looking. My picks this week are the Saints, Cowboys, Ravens, and Chargers. -

Actually, it's really not that hard to get to Cypress Gardens from I-4, if you take exit 55. You drive 25 minutes south on route 27, then turn onto Cypress Gardens Blvd. , and it's less than 10 minutes from there. Once you get off I-4, it's really only one turn. ...Not really that difficult, but it does take a little time. With that said, it still wasn't worth going to the old Cypress Gardens. -

I knew the trim was coming, but it still makes my stomach turn when I actually see it installed on the coaster. Oh well, hopefully it won't be too noticeable when riding. -

I'm sure the teens "with a group of their friends" will get over it. If not, then I'm sure they can go ride Vortex or Nighthawk instead. ...Whether you're with a group or alone, sometimes it's nice having a little room when riding a coaster. Personally, I'm glad they're getting these newer style trains. -

All aboard!!! I see the bandwagon coming down the road. Just kidding, the Cowboys looked good last night. Next weeks game should be a good one. -
Mitch Hawker's Coaster Poll 2009!
alpengeist04 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My biggest complaint is the over the shoulder restraints on Maverick. If it wasn't for them, Maverick would be my #2 steel coaster this year. As it is, I still have it ranked #10. With that said, hopefully these newer restraints on I-305 will be a major improvement. ...Then maybe CF will consider them for Maverick. -
Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?

Cold!!! ...At least for central Florida. I know we get days in January where it's cold, but now they're talking freezing rain is possible tomorrow. -
I understand what you guys are saying, but can you really tell if the movie will be good or not from a 2 minute "behind the scenes" video. I would rather base my predictions on past attempts at horror remakes.

Mitch Hawker's Coaster Poll 2009!

Not to mention the trains are at Wild Adventures right now, which is the reason the speculation started in the first place. ...Here's hoping this speculation does come true. -

What suspense? It looks like the Bengals may do the same thing Indy did and play the back-ups for at least half the game. Talk about a team getting lucky two weeks in a row. -
LOL, that was great. Somewhere I have a picture of me with Deborah Gibson, though when I was growing up, it was Debbie.

Now that is impressive. Again, really no big surprises. My top 4 were all in the top 8. ...El Toro #2, Phoenix #8, Ravine Flyer II #5, and Boulder Dash #4. -
^I couldn't agree more. I'll probably see it again sometime next week. It's definitely caught on throughout the world, since its over $600 million worldwide after only 10 days. But before a second viewing next week, I'm going to see Sherlock Holmes tomorrow. Then in January it's Daybreakers, The Book of Eli, and Legion.
