  1. The AIDA Prima actually has a somewhat decent (for a cruise ship) lazy river. It's also been talked about for some future trips coming.
  2. This is my new guilty pleasure thread...especially since that damn ride is actually being built at the Meadowlands!!!!
  3. She says..ok, let's do this... Shanghai Disney - Tron Tokyo Disney - 20k Leagues Under the Sea Walt Disney World - Carousel of Progress Disneyland Paris - maybe the food? Disneyland - The Trolley show at California Adventure Hong Kong Disney - Mystic Manor ...she says this isn't fair though as all the rides in Tokyo are awesome! Also, did I mention she's weird?
  4. So KT has a lot of thoughts on this. When she was younger she much preferred Royal Caribbean's kids clubs to the Disney Kids Club. Her reasoning was that there were just TOO many kids and the counselors didn't even learn your name. I totally get that. The clubs LOOK amazing, ridiculous! But for KT, when they're filled with hundreds of screaming children and a few adults who don't even know you she felt like it wasn't for her. Other kids are obviously very different! This recent Disney Magic cruise was her first time in 'tween' club (called Edge on Disney) for 11-14 year olds. She LOVED it. She could come and go as she pleased, the counselors knew and interacted with the kids, there were cool activities, Disney characters randomly showed up and played four square with them, etc. She has not yet done the Royal Caribbean tween club as it doesn't start till 12 years old. For itineraries she says (in no particular order); Dubai/India, Mediterranean, Alaska. She usually doesn't even get off the ship in the Caribbean anymore.
  5. Yeah, I honestly feel that Vekoma currently has a better reputation than Sensei! Interesting news, I'm sure there's a lot more that we all don't know about behind the scenes to this.
  6. She has a very detailed answer for you but no time to type it all out this morning, later I promise!
  7. That they sometimes where novelty tees. (Sorry, she watches way too much TV!)
  8. She is VERY angry about the VR on it. It was in her top ten in the original form. On the plus side, we won't have to ride it as much now which will give us more time to go eat Gyoza at this awesome little take out shop in Citywalk!
  9. Yeah, to be honest, after #25, I just kind of grouped stuff at a 30, 35, 40, 55, etc. I'm happy to post it though. Kristen says she really has no desire to make a list. Her list would probably be VERY odd. I know Phoenix would be #1, but she would have some really strange other ones in her top ten...for example, she's obsessed with Van Helsing at Movie Park Germany!
  10. ^Exactly my reason for dropping it down a bit. It's hard to rank something you haven't ridden in ten years!
  11. She says she's most excited about going back to Japan. Second to that she's really excited to ride Phoenix again at Knoebels as it's her favorite coaster.
  12. Kristen is feeling unloved and wanted me to promote this topic again!
  13. Yeah, this is a bold choice for sure...
  14. It's not just their marine animals that get neglected. A bunch of us nicknamed their deer area after a concentration camp, it was very sad. The coaster is fine, weird and interesting, but don't give them any more money than you have to.
  15. ^Yes, but you're a professional engineer and probably took an ethics class at some point in your life. These guys had no formal education in either apparently!
  16. ^See like, Temple of the Nighthawk is dumb, but at least it doesn't try to injure you repeatedly like so many other of the bottom coasters!
  17. I did it as best as I could! I've been on a lot of crappy coasters...here's my top and bottom as the middle doesn't seem to matter as much! Top Ten Expedition GeForce Intamin Amusement Rides Holiday Park Lightning Rod Rocky Mountain Construction Dollywood Balder Intamin Amusement Rides Liseberg Phoenix Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters Knoebels Amusement Park and Resort Maverick Intamin Amusement Rides Cedar Point Wildfire Rocky Mountain Construction Kolmården El Toro Intamin Amusement Rides Six Flags Great Adventure Storm Chaser Rocky Mountain Construction Kentucky Kingdom Outlaw Run Rocky Mountain Construction Silver Dollar City Kawasemi Intamin Amusement Rides Tobu Zoo Park Bottom Five Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril Intamin Amusement Rides Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Park Condor Vekoma Rides Manufacturing Walibi Holland Hades 360 The Gravity Group Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park Goudurix Vekoma Rides Manufacturing Parc Astérix Bandit Roller Coaster Corporation of America Movie Park Germany
  18. I have to comment because as KT is a Hamilton enthusiast that is in fact Angelica!
  19. Just a heads up, for any of us that did our coaster list early on, make sure to go back as there are probably more coasters listed now that you should add. I was working on my ranking and realized something I wanted to rank in my bottom five was missing and sure enough, there were a bunch of new international parks added since I had done my initial list.
  20. That tree!!! In every park I see it, gives me horrid nightmares!
  21. I don't think it matters even for the indictment whether he had experience, was an engineer, or whatever else we're all arguing about. The indictment has written and oral statements that they knew there were several problems with the ride and injuries and they conspired to cover them up!
  22. The indictment is terrifying and damning. This was no accident, that poor kid was doomed by adults who just wanted to make money and be featured on tv.
  23. Wait a minute...awesome Intamin launched coaster AND it replaces the horrid water boarding death splash coaster!?!?! SUPER WIN!
