I just want to say how awesome and refreshing it is to see a park working on their 2014 ride now! Can't wait to ride this next year! -

Indiana Beach Visit (first time)
SharkTums replied to Chicago's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nice review from a first timer (both posting and visiting!). Indiana Beach certainly has a ton of potential and it's nice to read your review and hope that they're going back in the right direction. -
Boeing 777 Crashes at San Francisco International Airport

^I read that it was another teenager from the same group that the two deceased kids were from. -
Yeah, this was a sad one waking up to. I don't really care or feel bad for him because he was spoiled and killed himself with drugs, I'm more upset for Glee!!! Now they'll have to write him off somehow and it will probably kill the show even more.

Have they removed the wreckage yet? Last I heard was that it was supposed to be gone by the end of the weekend. I want to know how jealous I should be of Robb flying into SFO on Monday!!! -
TPR SYFY MOVIE NIGHT: SHARKNADO
SharkTums replied to the ghost's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, I don't know what they did to make this movie explode so much on social media. It wasn't even in my top 10 Asylum movies, but they certainly did something right! Although, I'm kind of ready for it to die now. Even McDonalds was tweeting Sharknado related stuff! -

Pretty cool to have two different versions too! -
^That's what I'm wondering as well. It was a fresh take on the same old horror crap that had some really interesting scenes.
-
^It's ridiculous. This is one of the biggest downtime's they've had and they haven't even bothered to post or release a statement or anything. Dumb.

Just got back in after 12 hours of nothing.

The Official WEST COAST BASH 2013 Thread!
SharkTums replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Was just going to post something similar. We will not be 'sharing' with any other group this year and if SFMM cannot put on a TPR quality level event we will stop the event and take our business elsewhere in the future. -
Anyone else having problems with the game? I havent been able to get in for about 10 hours now. Stupid EA.

This is both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. Thanks for the offer to attend, but we'll be up at Cedar Point finishing up the Texas/Midwest trip. Maybe next time!

Curse yooouu SFMM! Here, I'll give you the Q&A: Audience: What will the next coaster be? SFMM Park People: We know, but we won't tell you of course. Audience: Is there any truth to the Iron Colossus rumor? SFMM Park People: What rumor? We don't pay attention to internet drivel, we do what we want when we want. Audience: One of your drink machines just ate my money. SFMM Park People: So go to guest relations you dumbass! Audience: Why are you targeting the YOLO Demographic when every park on earth has shown that families spend more money at parks and are more profitable? SFMM Park People: YOLO Bitches! Audience: Why can't you take the OTSR's off Revolution? SFMM Park People: <> Audience: Why did you get rid of Deja Vu the year after you told us how good you were at taking care of it and how great it was? SFMM Park People: That was also a lie. Audience: Why does Green Lantern not flip as much as other models? SFMM Park People: Because our version is better. Audience: When will we see a flat or dark ride come to the park? SFMM Park People: When roller coasters are banned. Audience: Why did you change to the buses from the trams? SFMM Park People: $$$ Seriously though, the SFMM Q&A has been declining by degrees over the years whereas the Knott's Q&A is top notch! Make sure to do both days of WCB and see for yourself! -

TPR's 2013 Japan Trip - Mini Updates!
SharkTums replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I hadn't paid attention to this ride at all (mainly cause it's at FujiQ) and rode it in the front in a light rain for my first ride. Had no clue it had an indoor inversion right out of the station, thought that was cool. The first half (launched section) I felt was quite a bit rough. Got really banged around. Had no clue what was happening as the ride kept doing random inversions and the rain was hurting me! Second half (after the lift) was much smoother, and the 121 degrees was pretty cool. Again, it was just inversion after inversion nothing really stood out to me. I had to practically MAKE people take the fast passes for Takabisha as everyone else preferred the other coasters. -
