With all tickets now having RFID you just go to one of the inpark kiosks or roaming FastPass + Cast Members to setup your selections if you haven't already done it on the app. I love it! We are able to book our fastpasses before we even head out to a park! It's a great judge of how crowded a park is too.

Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread

I love Phineas and Ferb and would welcome something to replace the current state of the Imagination ride but I don't feel that they are 'timeless' and would work for a long term attraction. I worry the whole thing will end up like KimPossible. As for Wonders of Life, it's always been my dream to transform the pavilion into a Weather Channel sponsored place with Aquatopia in the middle and the simulator replaced with Storm Rider. Not a huge investment, but would certainly bring some life and work for the park. -
^I can't believe they're going to, what looks like, bulldoze all of their current hotels as well as the park! I mean, if they actually tear down the entire complex and rebuild it we could be looking at a real resort! Have they announced any big closure dates for the area? I just can't see them trying to keep some sections open while doing what's in the concept art. Unless of course the concept art is just that, and we'll just see a repainting of the hotels or something not as cool.

I also got my last prize last night...yay!

I think we better try to keep this thread back on track. I realize I contributed to the delinquency of the thread so just ignore that and move on! Anyone else go to the event this weekend? There's also a special these next weekends that if you buy one Fun Card you can get one free which is an awesome deal!

^I don't know if it's just random placement but I had just the homer snowman and crap on my wheel forever, finally got him and then he was replaced by one of the pet snowmen! Remember you must log into today if you haven't already to get the bonus character from tonight's new episode.

Plus isn't this picture: Just the transfer area? -
^Don't be so sure, remember I got my last thing on the wheel...and then they put another snow sculpture on it!!! Still trying to get that one.

Orphan Rocker Coaster at Scenic World

^Because the 'coaster' is at something very similar to a national park and I don't think it really fits at all. The remaining family doesn't even want it, but it would take more effort to remove than just let rot. -
Disney Hopper or Orlando Flex Pass?

Sounds like a good plan! Live life while you can! -
The only thing that surprises me about this is that it wasn't in Florida!

Disney Hopper or Orlando Flex Pass?

^Wet n Wild by far has the most slides, but it also has a very different 'vibe' from all the other parks. I've also never had a visit to that park without stepping or swimming up next to some sort of band aid, feminine product, or something else horrifying. You're hearty northerners but remember an 85 degree day after a bunch of colder days means the water WILL be cold. The parks all claim to heat it, but it's still not 'warm' and you'll be freezing while waiting for the slides. Here's how I'd break down the Orlando Water Parks: Blizzard Beach - Best overall. Good mix of slides, pools, theming, food, etc. Typhoon Lagoon - Most like a real tropical resort, amazing if you're into fish and tropical resort type places. Aquatica - New kid on the block, needs to grow into itself a bit more. Typical type slides and park with a bit of extra theming. Wet n Wild - The SFMM of water parks. Tons of slides and extreme stuff, but little else to write home about. There are also at least going to be one or two slides down for maintenance during the more 'off season' times. -

It sounds like a win win for you, just decide what you're in the mood for on this visit and go for it! The one thing I will tell you would be to NOT count on the water parks for a Mid-March visit. March is a really temperamental time in Florida. It could be 32 degrees one day, 86 the next, pouring and storming the day after, and bright and sunny after that. -
^Two answers. You can get the Universal Express books at the ticket booths and a few of the larger stores in the park. With the 7 Pack it gives you a few choices and you may be able to get two rides on something, but not Hollywood Dream if I recall because it's too popular. You will NOT be able to get a fastpass for Toy Story Mania towards the end of the day. They were selling out around 10am when we were there for the whole day. You can standby later at night, but when they say it 'gets quieter' that probably means a 90-120min wait during busy season.
