At a young age like 14 or in my case 12 it's just for fun. i've never had a girlfriend but some of my friends have. Some people take it too far and that's when I have to remind them that middle school relationships are just dumb. But if you're going to the same high school with your crush like I am (she is also a good friend) it doesn't hurt to get head start.

Today was my first middle school dance, which is what gave me the idea for this thread. Got any good/bad/interesting/funny stories from yours? At mine they had these three feet by three feet squares about a foot off the ground. Everyone tried to get on them wich caused a lot of people to fall off. We also had a dance contest and two twin guys took off their shirts and the girls went crazy of course, don't think the teachers were too happy about that. The last thing was grinding was a big issue last year and we had to get a permission slip signed saying we wouldn't do it and that our parents were aware of the problem, but it still happened, alot. Especially on those boxes where it happened to you no matter what. I did notice a lot of it was guy on guy. Anyway whats your stories?

So the trip might now happen. My sister got mono, which is fine but she also has chrons, and her doctor said that having chrons could make the mono worse, like really worse and if it happens we have to call off the trip. However if we don't go we will most likely go up to the dells and probably make a stop at Bitten at the Theme Park at Mt. Olympus and I would take pictures there. So thanks for the help everyone, if this gets called off I'll dig up this thread and reread it when I go. -DBD EDIT: The MOA trip is cancelled. Now I will be going up there this summer and I will post a trip report then. So now we will be going to the dells and possibly making a stop at Mt. Olympus. Best: 10 laps around Meteor without getting off. Worst: Three hour wait for Raging Bull with a three train operation. The ride was down for about 10 minutes but the ride ops waited until the train coming into the station before letting out the next one.

I see this is your first post so first off welcome to TPR! You will probably get in trouble with the Mods for the size of your avatar, so you should rezise to the size given when you upload it. This could also be considered a pointless thread and since we already have threads about the park it would be a good idea to ask there. Too many pointless threads and you could get a 24 hour ban or just banned completely. Just keep those in mind and enjoy the site. (Sorry Mods if this is backseat moderating.)

^ OH GOD NO! That show is so stupid. It's about animals who live on a farm. It's basically Madagascar or Finding Nemo or The Wild or any other animal show with barnyard animals. If they do change it by the time I get up there I will still ride it, but I will be very disapointed. If it's still Paul Bunyon I'm sure I'll love it and I'll look for the seat and homeplate. Thanks for the heads up on those!

That's good. Didn't the ride used to be called Paul Bunyons Log Flume or something like that? When they changed the name to just Log Chute I was worried they took out the Paul Bunyon theme, which I've heard is great.

Something I though of, is the log flume still themed to Paul Bunyon or is it all Nickelodeon characters now?

This was very different from In the Loop with you and coasterboy, in a good way. The podcast was really informative and it was funny when you said that Kidtums likes to play airplane.

Wow, the park looks good. I don't like American Eagle being renamed to Black Widow for FF though. Black Widow has nothing to do with American Eagle and the spide just sitting on the Eagle doesn't look good. Other than that the park looks great!

^ I know but I just find that weird. I've heard loop-de-loops, loopies, circle, thing that takes you upside down, and 360. It just sounds wrong to me but like you said he probably has no clue what he's talking about. Anyway I'm happy about the new coaster but I wish it wasn't a woodie. The biggest steel coaster in Wisconsin is a wild mouse and we don't have any coasters that go upside down. IMO a small, compact Arrow or Vekoma corkscrew would fit in with the park. I hope the park is also considering getting a kiddie coaster. The park used to have at least one maybe two coasters so it would be cool if they remade one of those. It said they would also be getting 11 new rides any word on what those might be? Last thing, I'm don't really know a lot of the coaster terms, so what exactly is a camelback?

This is great news! I love that park without a coaster so adding one would make it even better. When they say there are two coasters the park was looking into I wish they could have said which two. Anyway even if the coaster gets rejected this is a park TPR should not pass up! On a side note I thought it was kinda funny that they called them "upside down loops."
