  1. Since we have a new CP lodging thread open, anyone care to give a quick review of the Lighthouse Point cabins? We just booked a cabin for the 3 day Coaster Mania weekend based of a few net reviews and their website. The location was the main selling point for us, it will be nice to be able to stay on the point this time around. We know lodging sites are often a bit misleading so any feedback would be much appreciated.
  2. I've been on Knott's and CP's version and didn't notice much of a difference. They're really fun rides, with a super short ride program.
  3. My external LG DVD drive did the EXACT same thing to my RCT2 disc. Makes me laugh because I've never see anything like that before, even doing tech work for a few years. It broke the drive tray in two pieces, and pretty much destroyed everything inside. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has lost a drive this way, I feel a bit better now.
  4. Have you been to Six Flags Great America before?
  5. From RCDB Relocations: Six Flags Great America as Z-Force Six Flags Over Georgia as Z-Force Six Flags Magic Mountain as Flashback http://rcdb.com/id128.htm
  6. They sure do, I was just on it right before it went down for it's winter rehab session. The Boardwalk is also celebrating their 100th year in 2007, so now is a great time to come out for a visit!
  7. Please feel free to, that would be great. ^
  8. Anyone know if this guy was at Solace last year?
  9. I'm actually kind of amazed the video link is still alive, Mediafire is the shizznit! Glad to see everyone has enjoyed the Tatsu construction show rip. BTW....Yes, we do have a ton of commercials here in the States, and yes, some are for strip clubs. (Late night reruns are awesome.) Anyways, thanks for the feedback folks. Sean-
  10. Intamin Towers out of my two choices, and Fabbri Mega Drop's as my personal favorite. http://www.flatrides.com/Ride%20Index%20Pages/megadrop.html I do really like space shots though, SCBB's Double Shot version has great pops of air for it's size.
  11. Haha, they're not changing Tava's around, trust me.
  12. So word is the reason the supports are a bit "spotted/translucent" looking is because it's only the first coat of paint. V2 still has a nice bit of work to be done yet so it's a work in progress for the next month. You really have to see it in person to get a sense of what the final colors will be at this point, but the scheme is really growing on me.
  13. The flyer basically says: "Liz, the elephant (our elephant artist at SFMW) has been painting up a storm. Now it's time to join her as a new adventure begins!" Followed by the Shaprio text mentioned above. I got my invitation in the mail today, and plan on heading down to Vallejo to photograph the event. I should have some great photos ready to go by Wednesday night for anyone interested. I guess the timing of the painting of V2 makes a bit more sense now.
  14. Nerd Ropes = Food of the gods! Great TR, glad to see you enjoyed all the american shwag.
  15. The link bellow has a break down of the accident. It also has a link to the Ohio Department of Agriculture's structural evaluation report with photographs. 16. Pretty much what I'm thinking. The gate won't be moving this year either, but it has been a long standing rumor. Yup, the official Marine World site updated it's ride photos last season to be a bit more accurate to the park's line up. The updated (Yellow & Green) V2 shots are rather nice if you ask me. Sean
  17. You can download Winrar for PC & Mac for free here: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm I hope that helps, good luck. Send me a PM if this doesn't work for you. Sean
  18. Haha, I didn't even notice this till just now. Oh well, skip through the commercials young TPR viewers. The midnight showing must of had a few shameless strip club ads because of the time spot. Oh well.
  19. Download the full show here: Building Tatsu Presented By: Discovery Channel http://www.mediafire.com/?3nynzktimzc (Just in case you can't play this file download VLC Media Player.) Feel free to re-encode and host this however you guys feel is best for the site. I didn't post this in the video section because the file is way to big to host here at TPR I'm thinking. It's almost a 700mb RAR file, but media fire is a pretty fast download service most of the time. Cheers, Sean (Edit...added another link just in case the first one goes down. http://www.mediafire.com/?3nynzktimzc)
  20. Edited- I stand corrected then. Thanks for clearing that up.
  21. You rock! Thanks Man! Ill check back later to see if oyu got it up! -Ryan No problem. The video is around 680 megs (.AVI) so it's taken me a majority of the night/morning to finish. It's uploading as I'm typing this and it's only a quarter of the way done. The show should be up around 9:30 a.m. (pacific) for everyone to download, I promise. BTW if anyone wants to re-encode the video to a smaller size feel free to. I know it might be handy for the people on TPR with limited internet connections. I would have made two copies but this ended up taking a bit more time then I anticipated. Sean
  22. I'm encoding/uploading a high quality version right now. It will be up in a few hours if all goes well Ryan.
  23. I'm recording the 12:00 AM re-run. I'll get it posted for anyone interested as long as no one beats me to it first. Menefee-
