  4. I just talked to another one of my contacts at Discovery Kingdom, and he said that all 2007 Six Flags Season Passes will gain you entrance into Holiday in the Park 2007. He also pointed me to this: http://www.sixflags.com/discoveryKingdom/events/HolidayInThePark.aspx You can download the transfer form at the bottom of the linked page above. -Sean

  7. ^ Links or details other then just "It does not" please? Your best bet would be to call the Discovery Kingdom if you're really interested in visiting Holiday in the Park. I'm checking with a few of contacts at SFDK to get a solid answer though. More info soon hopefully. -Sean Edit..... I've just talked to a friend of mine who works at SFDK, and I'm pretty sure any season pass will get you into Holiday in the Park this year. He's going to double check for me tomorrow, but you should be good to go.
  8. That shouldn't be a problem. ^ Holiday in the Park is an event for all 2007 Six Flags season pass holders, no matter what your home park is. Hope that helps, -Sean
  9. .....If your in the park nothing is going to happen to you... I'm aware of that. I'm thinking more in the line of having to walk back out to your car. It is kind of cool to actually have the option to go ride coasters on New Years though. It's been some time since a park in this area has been open that late in the season. Discovery Kingdom has really given season pass holders more bang for their buck in 2007, and I hope that trend continues into the future. -Sean
  10. Not sure you would really want to be in Vallejo much past midnight in all honesty. -Sean
  11. Just a side note but the park has also recently announced they will be having a New Years Eve event this year. http://www.sixflags.com/discoveryKingdom/events/CalendarEvents.aspx -Sean "Kinda cool to see the park trying new things!" Menefee

  15. More goodness from the past for download: The full Demon Song http://www.zshare.net/audio/468184948ba718/ Silly dude, you're only food, for the Demon! This thread is becoming the awesomeness. -Sean
  16. After dropping the cost of a used late model Honda on coaster trips this year, we're planning on toning down our traveling a bit next season. We hope to make the usual rounds of California, along with one out of state trip to Hershey/Kennywood/SFGadv for a super extended weekend. Then it's back to the real world and finally trying to buy a house this year.
  17. This sorta reminds me of when they modified V2 up here in Vallejo, and everyone started calling the ride V1.5. Funny the first 1000 times no doubt, then it just started getting old.
  18. I just got super nerdy and snagged my copy of Beverly Hills Cop 3 out of my DVD case. There are some great angles of Triple Wheel in action, so I snapped a screen shot for you to check out. The movie also has a nice collection of classic GA shots including the Train, Tidal Wave, and Vortex's old green and black paint job. -Sean You can see it's placement with Demon in the background. Also notice the production crane they forgot to move out of the shot in the lower right hand corner.
  19. Janelle Monae - Many Moons http://www.zshare.net/audio/465947989300ec/ I dare ya to cick.
  20. Yeah I'm pretty sure folks were talking about Triple Play.

  22. Not to derail this thread too much, but I've always felt the same way. I think that because it was the first of it's kind, people tended to overlook all of the horrible downtime, one train op, and other major issues the ride was plagued by the entire time it was at GA. The park got rid of a prototype nightmare in exchange for a water park that draws more people, and costs them less in the long run. Even with our version of Boom Bay being scaled down the way it is, I wouldn't turn back time and reinstall Stealth. Tidal Wave on the other hand is a different story. -Sean
  23. So you're gonna judge a ride that hasn't even been built yet by youtube? Also it's supposed to be similar, not an exact clone from what I've heard so far. Sean "Who still thinks Stealth was a giant POS" Menefee
