  1. ^^That looks awesome! Love the woodie. I say yes!
  2. Thanks for the detailed report! I like to see what other people think of my park. I voted for you and deathbydinn. My two personal favorites!
  3. When I went to SF:STL when I was little, I remember my distorted image of the skyline of the park...just steel track 1000's of feet up in the air like a crazy place. And that last pic looks just like that! Very intimidating skyline...props to CW.
  4. Nice use of scenery! The rooms were pretty cool (heartline roll was nice) and the first drop was disorienting.
  5. ^Go to the screenshots folder, and it will look empty. BUT, press "Compatibility Files" on your toolbar and it will be there. User Account Control saving the world...but failing. I would highlight all of those videos and move them to a different folder (say, your Videos folder) so you can access it by video editing software. If your video still comes out with a lag, you may have forgotten to change your AVI Framerate in NL (advanced options). If you haven't changed this yet, set it to 30 FPS (NTSC) so it renders with maximum smoothness. If you haven't done that before you recorded, I would consider recording again.
  6. You might see a video some time in the future in this thread. I'm working on a general Koenigsegg Agera video using Forza 4 footage. It takes forever to even get the raw video though unfortunately. First you have to save a replay (from driving footage on random courses), then make a movie (which takes a while to "render" and save), then upload it through FM.net (which takes about 10 minutes), then download it to your computer (another 10 minutes). And it's only 30 second clips. Then after all of that, I'm going to have to edit it all together, render that, then upload to YouTube. But I'm hoping that it will be worth it. Maybe some additional views for my channel, as well as some satisfaction. For me, my favorite cars are the Agera and the Countach. Koenigseggs I've always loved. CC8S was "meh", but CCR onward was great. The headlights no longer looked emo, and the body actually started looking good. CCX and XR came out, looked awesome. Agera looks even better...much more refined shape and cool colors (I'd get it in white with the blue/gold stripes). I just love the engine noise, the "way too powerful" attitude, the look, the doors (you can't deny those are sick), and the fact that it is a top performer. The Countach is more of a recent fetish, but it's sticking. It has to be a certain Countach though...some I find a tad ugly. The LP5000 QV is my favorite, and some other late models are great too. The first model just doesn't do it...it's a teardrop. The last ones are just retro 80's with wicked shapes, which rocks. The LP5000 QV is my favorite because it has the edgy look done best. First, the trapezoid theme. Look at the car from the side. This isn't a particularly good shot, but you can see the jist of it. The windows are trapezoids. The side profile...trapezoid. The wheel covers...miniature trapezoids. <3 Then the amazing chevron wing (one of my favorite spoilers ever) and polygonal back side. I just love the car to death. I may be the only one, but yeah. It would basically have to be that model...the others have a mish-mash of polygonal and rounded. The other late models are good though too. The end anniversary model IMO isn't good, nor are the beginners. And I would totally get it in that color. To me, perfect.
  7. So on the way home from school, I pull out of the parking lot and drive down a two lane road. Then, someone (presumably from school) from behind me pulls out into the left lane and floors it past me. U cool. I could almost hear the whisper of the 4-cylinder Accord, but unfortunately it was drowned out by a kazoo exhaust system from the quality dealerships of the ghetto. [sarcasm] And I just have a horribly wimpy MANUAL TRANSMISSION (more work) VW Jetta VR6 that's like 10 years old! Their car so much faster than mine! [/sarcasm] I love people.
  8. Nice job! A few tweaks and jerks in the track...I could tell where the vertices were. Still good for a handbuilt ride though, this is one of your better rides. You seem to be getting transitions and banking pretty well. Thanks for sharing!
  9. Most likely Forza 4. I fell in love with 3 and can't wait to get back. Is anyone picking up MW3 on tuesday? I am so excited for it. What really pisses me off is how much hate MW3 has on the internet. People complain about everything. Personally I loved MW2 and think its one of the best games ever made. About 99% of the internet thinks not. MW2 I think tried to have too much. All of those killstreaks kinda ruined the game. MW1 was the best I think, but MW2 was really fun too. Might not pick up the 3rd though...I have my eyes on Battlefield 3, and I'm already wanting Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 when it comes out. And I recently purchased Forza 4. So I am/will be like broke lol. If I could get both BF3 and MW3, I would, but I probably won't. I want to play a different game since I've already played Call of Duty for years and it's basically the same with some new bling. Never had a Battlefield game, so that's what I'm going to get. I also hear the BF3 is more team oriented (like Halo) and less selfish like CoD, which is what I like. MW3 certainly isn't a terrible game at all...just the same recipe that has been there for like 4 years lol.
  10. ^LOL That is exactly what I do in all of my parks. That's probably why I'm a mix of Classic RCT2 and realism. Either way, I like the crampedness sometimes, but I look at other parks and they look way better than mine lol. I should do a mini-park some time.
  11. ^Glad you liked Bergsprung...took about 3 or 4 years to save up and construct (construction was spread out over those years as was the saving). I was building it piece-by-piece while adding other attractions. Was quite hard to not get in the red like that, especially when during all that construction, Bergsprung was never open to reap the benefits until far later. Unfortunately, I spent more time into that ride than my others, so other areas are lacking. Blue Sky Basin is definitely the most well-developed area, followed by the Botanical Gardens.
  12. ^I'm definitely NOT looking forward to it. I don't want my grades to suffer. Hence why I'm waiting until Christmas to get it or something later. Now is just not the time to even TOUCH Skyrim.
  13. I really liked your park! Mine is so dull and unoriginal...I like your custom rides like Ninja and Gladiator. Now that I see everyone building mine trains, I should have built one. I was thinking about it, but I never did. I was also thinking of building a jet coaster (for a kiddie ride) over the water and a shuttle loop of some kind to have at least one inversion in the park. Unfortunately, I ran out of time for all of those. You can tell I ran out of time because of all of the empty fields. So in the end I threw in some mowers to at least make the empty space presentable. Can't wait to see the others!
  14. ^You should check out NoLimits more often. There are some VERY stunning realistic designs all of the time! Some spot-on recreations too.
  15. Well, the scenery didn't work. Must be a Packager issue. Post a POV please!! Anyway, I rating without scenery. Basically, I'd love to see this with some scenery, but yeah. Basically, your trackwork is a little bit lacking on the banking and pumps. Some banks were just sideways held...watch the lats and adjust banking so it's minimized on the lats. There were many turns where it was 1G lats on the hanging side...just not good trackwork on that part. There were some good moments, like good attempts at heartlining and such. One thing I must mention though are your ideas. This ride was amazing in that aspect. The lift was perfect, and I could tell that with scenery it would rock more (which means you should REALLY post a POV!! ). I loved the launch, slow pull over, and Takabisha drop. My favorite part though was the roll/immelmann going into the first MCBR. That was one of the most disorienting elements I have ever seen. Absolutely perfect! Great use of opposite roll and lats! There were other great moments of disorientation, like continuous rolls from immelmann to drop, etc. The execution of disorientation and adrenaline is near perfect. Just fantastic. I mean, all you have left to work on is track! I mean really, your layout design is great and the scenery (as I can tell from pics) is astounding! You could really be a great designer...just work a little on track and you're golden. Thanks for sharing scenery-less, but please post a POV. Please!
  16. Lion definitely makes Apple/Mac more enticing. A very nice OS now. Still going to get a PC, but if Macs one day become priced like they should be, as well as have good compatibility, I will get one. Anyway, this concept is very nice. It looks quite smooth, which is nice to see from someone that I haven't seen play NL. I guess you've had your practice. I like the idea...awaiting to see how it's pulled off.
  17. My park's ass = whooped by Almere. Nice park. In a good and bad way lol.
  18. Final update! I just heavily advertised, shoved in rides, etc and I finally got the objective! I made a Botanical Garden with the time remaining. I'm very satisfied with my entry. One more thing I wish I could do is make the little tree/fruit farm an "interactive" apple tree experience where you "pick out apples yourself", and then "wash and purchase them" (via Candy Apple Stall). However, there is no way I could do that in 3 RCT days lol. DOWNLOAD HERE... ...and enjoy some final pics. New overview. Cyclone 500 race track. New Botanical Gardens section. Includes a big chess set! "Sorry, Black Bear is closed!" - For seasonal maintenance. Beautiful carousel flower gardens (never done something like this before). Slacker!
  19. Well, I spotted terrain in the corner of the park! Score! Basically, I'm having trouble beating the objective. I'm basically done with my park. I could have beaten the objective flat out, but I was afraid I would have to stop the challenge after I got it. Now that most of the rides are older now, they have to be charged lower, and thus I'm losing my edge. Maybe I'll try a park close/reopen trick to make things feel "new" since I have new guests. I dunno. Picture time! Still may revise many things (like areas that need more attention), but for the average joe this is pretty good! Overview and such. R.D.'s area is pretty much unscathed (kinda sorta). Changed some colors I think on Blue Streak, changed the layout a little on The Bunny Hop, and made the food court less bizarre lol. Now entering Frontierland! Note: I'm now stealing R.D's path idea...it works well and it's eye-appealing. Yay! A CCI woodie, Black Bear. Unfortunately, nobody really ever rides it because it's High intensity. A shame, because even the kiddies at Holiday World ride wicked CCI coasters. Oh well, it's for looks I guess. Time for Blue Sky Basin, where colorful rides are cram-packed into a beautiful area. Note the Setpoint suspended coaster (inspired by Universal's version). Bergsprung, the longest coaster in the park. I would have made it longer, but that would start drawing up intensity. Bergsprung w/scenery... ...and without! Not too sure what to do with this area yet. May just be nothing.
  20. Another challenge!! I like the idea for mild attractions...could use some cool terrain (Gentle Glen from RCT1, anyone?), but still very nice nonetheless. Looks like I'll have to save up some money to make my own terrain. Adding to the challenge!
  21. You'd have to picture the corks as a really tight overbank. Would be cool. I'd suggest a slow speed going into the dive loop though.
  22. NoLimits itself has a recorder! Press Zero on the numpad, record (it's laggy when it records, but it comes out fine), then press again to stop. Then go find it in your Screenshots folder.
  23. ^lol, the "rating public" will tend to do that. Most of the members (that aren't forum members) just go there to download the ride and rate so they can keep downloading. Unfortunately, most of those people won't know what they are talking about.
  24. ^I agree! The PI seems off! It's like the mid-range supercars are straddling A and S now instead of primarily being A. And an SUV in A class? It's like everything shifted up...it's quite annoying.
